ELECTRICAL FLOOR BOX WITH LIGHT SOURCE ASSEMBLY
An electrical floor box includes a body having an open top and defining an interior therewithin, a cover flange configured to be mounted on the open top of the body, a cover assembly connected to the cover flange such that it is repositionable between open and closed positions, and a light source assembly arranged within the electrical floor box. The light source assembly includes a magnet attached to a bottom surface of the cover assembly, a magnet reed switch installed on the cover flange, a LED light electrically connected to the magnetic reed switch, and a wiring tunnel configured to hold the LED light therewithin. When the cover assembly is in the open position, the magnet disengages with the magnet reed switch such that the LED light illuminates the interior of the electrical floor box.
Electric drive and emergency stop switch for boats
A boat having an electric motor coupled with an electrical store is disclosed. The electrical store includes a storage element, and positive and negative poles in current-conducting connection with the storage element. An isolating circuit element is operatively connected to a user activatable emergency stop switch. The isolating circuit element is configured to, upon activation of the emergency stop switch, isolate the current-conducting connection between the storage element and at least one of the poles.
SUMP PUMP CONTROL
An exemplary apparatus includes a switch, an arm, and a rod. The switch is housed by a housing and includes an actuating tab. The arm is housed by the housing and carries an arm magnet. The arm magnet includes first and second opposed surfaces and an edge surface. The rod carries a float and a rod magnet. The rod is movable between a first rod position and a second rod position at which the rod magnet is in the housing. As the rod moves from the first position to the second position, the edge surface of the arm magnet is configured to move across a facing surface of the rod magnet, thereby moving the arm from a first arm position in which the arm does not actuate the actuating tab to a second arm position in which the arm actuates the actuating tab.
Orifice module for flow switch system
An orifice module for a flow switch system has a cylindrical body which is symmetric about a central axis which defines a metering orifice. An axial central hub holds the stem. The hub connects to the cylindrical body by at least three support spokes which forms a plurality of flow channels angularly disposed about the central axis. The module interacts with the flow switch to enhance the function of the flow switch and also reduces turbulence in the fluid flow system.
Rotation angle detection sensor
A rotation angle detection sensor detects the rotation angle of a rotating part attached to a structure including a fixed part and a rotating part that rotates around a rotary shaft. The rotation angle detection sensor includes a reed switch attached to the fixed or rotating part with reeds placed near the rotary shaft. An annular magnet is attached to the rotating or fixed part. A magnetic circuit is formed with respect to the reed switch, with its central axis arranged concentrically with the rotary shaft. When the magnet rotates around the central axis with respect to the reed switch, if the same poles of the magnet are lined up in the longitudinal direction of the reed switch, the reed switch is turned off. If opposite poles of the magnet are lined up in the longitudinal direction of the reed switch, the reed switch is turned on.
Auxiliary relay of electromagnetic contactor
The present invention relates to an auxiliary relay for an electromagnetic contactor, the relay including magnet members provided on both sides of a moving member, and first and second conductive members provided on both sides of a frame, whereby an ON or OFF state of the first and second conductive members can be controlled according to the magnet members, in response to a movement of the moving member, so as to configure various contact circuits, such as 1a 1b contact circuit, 2a contact circuit, 2b contact circuit and the like, for the electromagnetic contactor.
Reed Switch Apparatus and Method of Using Same
A transportable container assembly including a transportable container defining an enclosed interior space and having an opening member cooperatively engaging a mounting frame. The opening member has a closed position and an open position and access to the interior space is permitted in the open position. A localized device or system is attached to the transportable container and is coupled to an electrical power source. A reed switch apparatus coupled to the transportable container communicates the position of the opening member to the localized device or system. The localized device or system provides a localized function depending on the reported position of the opening member. The localized function includes at least one of a group consisting of a local lighting function, local locking mechanism action and local refrigeration system action/function. The localized device or system communicates the position of the opening member to a remote device or system at a location remote from the transportable container. The remote device or system is capable of providing remote monitoring and control functions or actions at the transportable container depending on the communicated position of the opening member.
TRANSFER MECHANISM, LEVER MECHANISM, AND CONTACTLESS LEVER SWITCH
The first transmission mechanism of the present invention includes a first permanent magnet, a first rocking member with a rod-like shape that includes one end at which the first permanent magnet is disposed and is extended in Z-axis direction, and two supporting bodies that rockably support the first rocking member at two different positions in Z-axis direction of the first rocking member. The first rocking member is rocked to move the first permanent magnet by an amount of displacement smaller than an amount of displacement inputted to the first supporting body, which is located on a side of the other end of the first rocking member in the two supporting bodies.
Magnetic proximity sensor
A proximity sensor (12) is provided which comprises a magnet (16) and a sensor (18). The sensor (18) is aligned relative to the magnet (16) in such a manner that the direction (E) of maximum sensitivity of the sensor (18) is formed so as to be substantially parallel to the magnet axis (M) extending through the poles (20, 22) of the magnet (16). Further, an assembly unit (10) is provided.
Pyrotechnic Fuse
Systems and methods described herein are directed to a pyrotechnic fuse comprising a magnetic concentrator configured to partially surround at least a portion of a busbar, wherein the magnetic concentrator may comprise an aperture, a pyrotechnic actuator (which may be coupled to the busbar and configured to stop electrical flow in the busbar when the pyrotechnic actuator is activated), and a magnetic switch (which may be located within or near the aperture). The magnetic switch may be configured to activate the pyrotechnic actuator when a current through the busbar reaches a threshold current. An angle of the magnetic switch relative to the aperture may determine the threshold current.
