20180366916 · 2018-12-20 ·

A disconnector device for a surge arrester is provided. The disconnector device includes: a housing encompassing a cavity; a disconnector provided inside the cavity, having a first terminal connectable to the surge arrester, a second terminal connectable to ground, a movable member provided at the second terminal and being fitted to the cross section of the cavity, and a disconnector cartridge. The member is movably arranged such in the housing that once the disconnector operates, the movable member is propelled inside the cavity towards an end of the cavity. The housing has ventilation openings connecting the cavity to an outside of the disconnector device for releasing gases from the operating disconnector cartridge. These ventilation openings are dimensioned such that no particles of harmful size that are potentially capable of igniting a fire can pass the ventilation openings.

Disconnector device for a surge arrester and a protection assembly comprising a surge arrester connected to such a disconnector device

This disclosure concerns a disconnector device for a surge arrester. The disconnector device comprises a housing encompassing a cavity and a disconnector unit provided inside the cavity. The disconnector device is connectable to the surge arrester and to ground potential. The housing forms an inner housing of a housing unit. The housing unit comprising an inner housing and an outer housing. The at least one ventilation opening of the inner housing is fluidly connected to the at least one further ventilation opening of the outer housing such that a labyrinth with a gas escape path for the gases from the operating disconnector cartridge is formed.

Electric pulse generator

An electric pulse generator configured to power at least one load and including an electric discharge switch including at least one piston and a chamber in which the piston can move, a propellant gas-generating trigger for moving the piston, at least one punch rigidly connected to an end of the piston, and at least one stack of layers formed from at least one pair of electrodes separated by a layer of dielectric material. The electric pulse generator further includes an energy storage device associated with the or each pair of electrodes of the electric discharge switch in at least one series connection, the load or each load being configured to be connected in parallel with the or each series connection.

Bypass switch

A bypass switch includes: a casing; a vacuum interrupter disposed inside the casing, the vacuum interrupter being disposed such that a movable contact is movable to a fixed contact; a first fixing bus-bar fixed to the casing; a second fixing bus-bar fixed to the casing to be spaced apart from the first fixing bus-bar; a moving pusher connected to the movable contact; a drive source installed in the casing, the drive source pushing the moving pusher to a position at which the movable contact and the fixed contact are contacted with each other; and a multi-contactor disposed to be contacted with the moving pusher. Accordingly, the moving pusher can rapidly contact the movable contact with the fixed contact. Further, the moving pusher can be moved with a small external force. Thus, it is possible to minimize the size of the drive source and the power used in the drive source.

TWO-ELECTRIC-POLE CIRCUIT BREAKER ACTUATED BY A COMMON PYROTECHNIC DEVICE

Two electric poles are controlled in one and the same circuit breaker by an undivided opening mechanism controlled by a pyrotechnic actuator. The opening of the circuit that is brought about by this actuator, which is fast for a large opening travel of the mobile contacts, makes it possible to extinguish electric arcs under good conditions. The poles may be placed in series on one and the same electrical circuit in order to reduce the potential difference across the terminals of each of them, thereby further increasing the effectiveness of the circuit breaker in terms of arc extinguishing.
