SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FORMING PROTECTIVE SPORTS EQUIPMENT FOR A CUSTOMER
20230248106 · 2023-08-10 ·

A custom-fitted protective sports equipment and a method of making the same can comprise, at a first location, obtaining head data for a customer's head comprising a length, a width, and at least one head contour. With at least one processor, generating a computerized three-dimensional (3D) headform matching the customer's head length, width, and head contour from the head data. The 3D headform can be compared to a safety standard. At a second location different from the first location, the custom-fitted protective sports equipment is formed, wherein the custom-fitted helmet satisfies the safety standard and comprises an inner surface comprising a topography that conforms to the length, width, and at least one contour of the customer's head.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROVIDING AT LEAST ONE CUTTING PATTERN FOR AN ARTICLE OF CLOTHING TO BE PRODUCED INDIVIDUALLY FOR A CUSTOMER
20230248099 · 2023-08-10 ·

The present invention relates to a method, a computer program product, and a device for providing at least one cutting pattern of a garment to be made individually for a customer. Here, the method comprises the steps of: creating a virtual individual 3D body model (20) of the customer based on individually determined 3D body shell data (10) of the customer and general skeletal data (30) provided; creating a virtual individual 3D garment (40) based on a virtual 3D ideal design (30) and the virtual custom 3D body model (20) created; creating the at least one cutting pattern by flattening/developing the virtual individual 3D garment (40), wherein flattening/developing the virtual individual 3D garment (40) takes place algorithmically on the basis of at least one set of cutting rules (52, 54).

Methods and systems of fitting, evaluating, and improving therapeutic compression garments

The present invention relates to methods of fitting for pre-fabricated compression garments via digital imaging of a wearer body part and measurement of body part circumferences and, optionally, lengths therefrom. The present invention also relates to methods of generating a shape description derived from digital imaging of a patient body part or body area of interest and use of such shape description. Such shape description includes geometric information from which measurement information can optionally be derived. Included herein are methods for diagnosing and monitoring edema and other conditions in patients using shape descriptions acquired from a patient in need of such diagnosis and monitoring. The invention also includes use of the generated shape descriptions to make compression garments specifically configured for a patient's body part or body area. Compression garments generated from the generated shape descriptions are also included herein.
