ELECTROMAGNETIC RELAY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ELECTROMAGNETIC RELAY
A press-fit fixing portion fixes a drive unit and a relay unit by press-fitting a claw portion and the recess portion. A sealing member is provided on an outside of the relay unit and the drive unit. An inner cover forms a sealed space for sealing an arc-extinguishing gas together with the sealing member. An electromagnetic relay is configured to make it possible both an adjustment of a press-fitting amount of the claw portion and the recess portion and an adjustment of the gap between a ceramic insulator at an end of a shaft and a movable element by making each of the relay unit and the drive unit in a manufacturing process to the same state as in when a magnetizing coil is energized.

Electromagnetic relay
An electromagnetic relay includes a first fixed terminal including a first fixed contact, a second fixed terminal including a second fixed contact, a movable contact piece, a case, a drive device, and a first magnet. The movable contact piece includes a first movable contact and a second movable contact. The case includes an accommodation space and a side wall covering the accommodation space in a first direction. The first magnet extends an arc generated between the first fixed contact and the first movable contact in a second direction opposite to the first direction. The first fixed terminal includes a first end. The first end of the first fixed terminal includes a tapered portion inclined in the second direction from the first fixed contact toward the first magnet and that at least partially overlaps with the first magnet when viewed from a moving direction of the movable contact piece.
RELAY
A base of a relay has a leg extending in a contact/separation direction between contacts, and the leg is configured to come into contact with a yoke when the base is incorporated into a case. The leg is spaced away from an upper part of an armature by a distance. This distance is determined so that an upper surface of the armature does not come into contact with the leg in a normal operation of the armature, but the upper surface of the armature comes into contact with a lower surface of the leg when the armature jumps up beyond a movable range thereof due to, for example, a strong impact applied to a vehicle on which the relay is mounted.

Relay
A relay includes a housing, a fixed terminal, a screw receiving member, and at least one female screw member. The fixed terminal has a plate shape. The fixed terminal includes a fastening portion having at least one screw insertion hole. The fastening portion is exposed from the housing to an outside and is screwed to an external terminal. The screw receiving member overlaps with the fastening portion in a penetrating direction of the at least one screw insertion hole and is provided in proximity to the fastening portion. The at least one female screw member is provided integrally with or separately from the screw receiving member and is prevented from rotating by the screw receiving member.

Electrical assembly
An electrical assembly may include a first contactor, a second contactor, a bus bar assembly electrically connected to the first contactor and the second contactor, a cooling member, a bracket configured to connect the cooling member to the first contactor and the second contactor, and/or potting material that may be disposed at least partially between the bus bar assembly and the cooling member. A method of assembling an electrical assembly may include disposing the first contactor and the second contactor on a fixture, connecting the bus bar assembly to the first contactor and the second contactor, connecting the bracket to the bus bar assembly, the first contactor, and/or the second contactor, connecting the cooling member to the bracket, and/or providing the potting material between the bus bar assembly and the cooling member.
ELECTROMAGNETIC RELAY
An electromagnetic relay includes a case, a first fixed terminal including a first fixed contact, a second fixed terminal including a second fixed contact, a movable contact piece including first and second movable contacts, a first magnet, a gas flow path, and a partition member. The case includes an accommodation space and a side wall covering the accommodation space in a first direction. The accommodation space includes a first space where the first fixed contact is disposed and a second space where the second fixed contact is disposed. The first magnet configured to extend a first arc generated between the first fixed contact and the first movable contact in the first direction. The gas flow path is disposed between the side wall and the movable contact piece. The gas flow path includes an inlet communicating with the first space and an outlet communicating with the second space.
