Disconnecting device for a surge arrester
The invention relates to a disconnecting device for a surge arrester which is accommodated by a support body, and wherein plug contacts which are connected to at least one arrester element of the surge arrester extend from the support body. The invention further comprises a switching tongue which is connected at a first end to the arrester element via a thermal separating point and with a second end to one of the plug contacts. Furthermore, a spring-preloaded insulating disconnecting bracket which is pivotably mounted on the support body is provided, the spring preload acting on the thermal separating point via the switching tongue. According to the invention, the switching tongue is configured as a straight-surface, elongated, metallic, resiliently elastic disconnecting strip having a rectangular cross-section.

Disclosed embodiments relate to an electrically controlled switch for high current switching operations and with different configurations of fixed terminal contacts that includes a switch body, a couple of moving contacts, a guide that drives the couple of moving contacts up to an abutting position, a housing groove running perimetric in the switch body, and at least one contact bar for connecting each of the moving contact to a respective fixed terminal contact of the switch, wherein the contact bar is hosted within the housing groove and has a free end projecting from the switch body to form the fixed terminal contact through a corresponding aperture of the switch body located on a same lateral side or on opposite lateral sides, or on the base support, respectively.
ASSEMBLY FOR FACILITATING ELECTRICAL CONNECTION BETWEEN A CIRCUIT BREAKER AND CABLES INSIDE A PANELBOARD
The present disclosure relates to the field of electrical engineering and discloses an assembly (100) for facilitating safe electrical connection between a circuit breaker (10) and a plurality of electrical connectors (20) inside an electrical panel board (30). The assembly comprises a plurality of connecting members (102) and a support block (104). Each connecting member (102) has a first connecting end (102a) connected to the terminals (10c) of the circuit breaker (10) and a second connecting end (102b) connected to the electrical connectors (20). The support block (104) comprises a plurality of projecting surfaces (104a), slots (104b) defined between the projecting surfaces (104a), and elongated members (104c). The slots (104b) provide a rigid support to the electrical connectors (20) to prevent bending and rotation of the connectors (20) on being subjected to a high torque. The elongated members (104c) isolate the connecting members (102) from each other.
