An automotive vehicle fuse box includes a receptacle having a bottom, a pair of fuses fitted into the bottom, a pair of output terminals coupled to first ends, respectively, of the fuses, and a pair of input terminals coupled to second ends, respectively, of the fuses. The pair of output terminals extends from the receptacle in a first direction, while the pair of input terminals extends from the receptacle in a second direction. The fuse box also includes at least one other pair of fuses fitted into the bottom and another pair of input terminals coupled to second ends, respectively, of the other pair of fuses. The other pair of input terminals extends substantially in parallel to the second direction. First ends of the other pair of fuses are coupled to the terminals of the pair of output terminals, respectively.

An automotive vehicle fuse box includes a receptacle having a bottom, a pair of fuses fitted into the bottom, a pair of output terminals coupled to first ends, respectively, of the fuses, and a pair of input terminals coupled to second ends, respectively, of the fuses. The pair of output terminals extends from the receptacle in a first direction, while the pair of input terminals extends from the receptacle in a second direction. The fuse box also includes at least one other pair of fuses fitted into the bottom and another pair of input terminals coupled to second ends, respectively, of the other pair of fuses. The other pair of input terminals extends substantially in parallel to the second direction. First ends of the other pair of fuses are coupled to the terminals of the pair of output terminals, respectively.

Implants or sensors often include and rely on inductive and ferromagnetic electrical components to measure and communicate data outside of the body to an external device, creating a safety concern when a patient with these implants or sensors must undergo an MRI scan. Further, various external devices that include inductive and ferromagnetic electrical components are exposed to potentially damaging MRI scans. An electrical coil assembly can include an electrical coil that includes a substrate and an electrical conductor supported by a first face of the substrate. In an example, the electrical coil assembly further includes a fuse element that is configured to move from a disengaged position in which the electrical fuse conductor is out of contact with the electrical conductor to an engaged position in which the electrical fuse conductor contacts the electrical conductor so as to define a short circuit.

A panel fuse module for use with one or more fuses. The panel fuse module includes a housing with a first fuse contact and a second fuse contact. The first fuse contact is resiliently deformable and is mounted on a post of the housing. A movable fuse holder is provided which is moveable relative to the housing and relative to the first fuse contact. A cam member is provided on the movable fuse holder. As the movable fuse holder is moved from the first position toward the second position, the cam member cooperates with the first fuse contact to move the first fuse contact from a less-stressed first position to a more-stressed second position to allow the respective fuse of the one or more fuses to be inserted into the housing without engaging the first fuse contact.

A panel fuse module for use with one or more fuses. The panel fuse module includes a housing with a first fuse contact and a second fuse contact. The first fuse contact is resiliently deformable and is mounted on a post of the housing. A movable fuse holder is provided which is moveable relative to the housing and relative to the first fuse contact. A cam member is provided on the movable fuse holder. As the movable fuse holder is moved from the first position toward the second position, the cam member cooperates with the first fuse contact to move the first fuse contact from a less-stressed first position to a more-stressed second position to allow the respective fuse of the one or more fuses to be inserted into the housing without engaging the first fuse contact.

A holder for receiving fuses is provided. The holder includes a housing and a fuse shuttle. The fuse shuttle is slidably cooperable with the housing in a first portion of the housing and pivotally cooperable with the housing in a second portion of the housing. The fuse shuttle and the housing define a fuse loading position and a fuse operational position.

A device for monitoring and indicating a fuse tube detachment from a fuse cutout assembly contains a structural body, a tilt switch, a power source, a visual indicator, and an attachment mechanism. The attachment mechanism is used to mount the device onto the fuse tube. The tilt switch monitors the position of the fuse tube. More specifically, when the vertical position of the fuse tube changes to the dropped position the tilt switch is triggered. Thus, the visual indicator is illuminated. The illumination aids in the process of discovering the detached fuse tube. In addition to the visual indicator, the device can also be equipped with a wireless communication device and an alarm system. The wireless communication device can be used to provide the exact location of the detached fuse tube. On the other hand, the alarm system can be used to expedite the process of discovering the detached fuse tube.

A high current fusible disconnect switch device includes a switch housing configured to receive a pluggable touch-safe fuse module, and a dual slide bar actuator assembly for opening and closing switch contacts. The dual slide bar elements are each coupled to bias elements that store and release energy to affect switch opening and closing operations. The switch opening and closing operation is multi-staged wherein the only the first slider element is movable in the first stage, and both the first and second slider elements are movable in the second stage.

A high current fusible disconnect switch device includes a switch housing configured to receive a pluggable touch-safe fuse module, and a dual slide bar actuator assembly for opening and closing switch contacts. The dual slide bar elements are each coupled to bias elements that store and release energy to affect switch opening and closing operations. The switch opening and closing operation is multi-staged wherein the only the first slider element is movable in the first stage, and both the first and second slider elements are movable in the second stage.

A fuse holder (10) for a high-voltage system for accommodating an electric fuse link (13), comprising a bottom part (11) and a cover (12), which, when assembled, form a housing that serves to accommodate a fuse link (13). The fuse link (13) has two opposite terminal lugs (131), which can be fixed in the cover by means of fastening screws (14), so that, together with the cover (12), the fuse link (13) forms a unit, which is fastened on the bottom part (11) by means of the fastening screws (14).
