CORD SWITCH
20190228875 · 2019-07-25 ·

A cord switch is composed of a hollow tubular member having elasticity and insulating properties, and a plurality of electrode wires disposed opposite an inner side of the tubular member and spaced apart by elastic force of the tubular member. The plurality of electrode wires each include a conductor formed by stranding a plurality of metal wires together. All of the metal wires constituting the conductors are helically stranded together.

A pressure-sensitive sensor includes a hollow tubular member including an elastic insulation, plural electrode wires spaced from one another and held on an inner circumferential surface of the tubular member, and helical ribs formed on at least one of inner and outer circumferential surfaces of the tubular member along a longitudinal direction thereof. The electrode wires are helically arranged along the longitudinal direction. A helical direction of the helical ribs of the tubular member is a same as a helical direction of the helically-arranged electrode wires.

A steering switch device, which is mounted on a steering wheel, includes a linear switch that includes a hollow insulator having restorability and two electrode wires arranged spirally along an inner surface of a hollow part in the hollow insulator while being kept not in contact with each other, wherein a winding pitch coiling spirally the electrode wires is at least not more than 10 mm, and a detecting device that detects a press of the linear switch by sensing a contact of the electrode wires. The linear switch is arranged so as to be along at least part of a surface of the steering wheel.

A pressure-sensitive sensor includes a hollow tubular member including an elastic insulating material, and n electrode wires (n being an integer of not less than 3) arranged away from one another and held inside the tubular member. When an external pressure is applied to the tubular member, the tubular member elastically deforms such that at least two of the n electrode wires contact with each other. The n electrode wires extend linearly and parallel to a central axis of the tubular member.

A pressure sensitive switch device includes a first membrane, a first conductive wire, a second conductive wire, a second membrane, a pressure sensitive layer, a supporting plate, and an elastic body. The second conductive wire is disposed on the first membrane and separated from the first conductive wire. The pressure sensitive layer is disposed on the second membrane and contact to the first conductive wire and the second conductive wire. The first conductive wire is electrically connected to the second conductive wire by the pressure sensitive layer. The supporting plate is located below the first membrane and has a groove. The elastic body is located over the pressure sensitive layer. The elastic body includes a deformation portion and a protruding portion. The deformation portion is configured to generate deformation to drive the protruding portion to move.
