Controller for retractable keyboards

A controller and methods for controlling a retractable keyboard are disclosed. The controller may control and monitor an extend operation of the retractable keyboard using a first pin, and control and monitor a retract operation of the retractable keyboard using a second pin. Open drain signaling may be used on the pins to allow control and monitoring through the same pin. To control and monitor the extend (or retract) operation using a single pin, the controller releases the voltage at the pin to a floating high state to activate the muscle wire to extend (or retract) the keyboard. During the operation, the controller checks the voltage state at the pin. If the voltage at the pin has been pulled to low by the closing of a limit switch, the controller determines that the extend (or retract) operation has completed and in response drives the pin to a low voltage state to deactivate the muscle wire.

Games controller and trigger therefor

Aspects of the disclosure relate to a games controller for controlling electronic games, input device for a computer program and a trigger mechanism therefor. The trigger mechanism comprises a trigger body having a plurality of walls defining an internal chamber. The plurality of walls include a base wall and an orifice defined in the base wall. A detent is detachably mounted on the trigger body. The detent is at least partially received in the orifice and the detent is rotatable with respect to the trigger body. The detent comprises at least one abutment surface which is eccentrically arranged with respect to the rotational axis of the detent.

Mouse device

A mouse device includes a mouse shell, a switch module, and a key module. The mouse shell has an upper shell and a lower shell, and the upper shell and the lower shell are joined together to form a chamber. The switch module is disposed within the chamber and is suspended from an inner side of the upper shell. The key module is disposed on an outer side of the upper shell. The key module is vertically movable and has a trigger. The trigger enters the chamber through the upper shell to activate the switch module when the key module is clicked.

An input device with an adjustable force level is provided. The input device includes a circuit board and a key structure. The key structure includes a key body, a casing and a pressure-adjustable elastic receptacle. The pressure-adjustable elastic receptacle is partially or completely accommodated within the casing and sustaining the key body. When the key body is moved downwardly, a resisting force to resist the key body is provided by the pressure-adjustable elastic receptacle and the force level of the resisting force is adjusted by the user. When a force with the force level is applied to the key body by the user, a switch of the circuit board is triggered.

TRIGGER SWITCH

Provided is a trigger switch that is incorporated into an electric device such as a power tool and drives a drive part such as a drive motor of the electric device, and is capable of adjusting the force required to press a trigger. A trigger switch TS includes a trigger 1 that moves from a release position in a pulling direction in response to a pulling operation, and a return spring 5 that urges the trigger 1 in a direction opposite to the pulling direction. The return spring 5 included in the trigger switch TS is pressed in the pulling direction by the movement of the trigger 1 and increases the urging force in accordance with the force of pressing. The trigger switch TS includes an adjustment member 6 that adjusts the urging force of the return spring 5 at the release position of the trigger 1.
