PACKAGE-INTEGRATED BISTABLE SWITCH FOR ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD) PROTECTION
A switch in a package substrate of a microelectronic package is provided, the switch comprising: an actuator plate; a strike plate; and a connecting element mechanically coupling the actuator plate and the strike plate. The switch is configured to move within a cavity inside the package substrate between an open position and a closed position, a conductive material is coupled to the switch and to a ground via in the package substrate, and the conductive material is configured to move with the switch, such that the switch is conductively coupled to the ground via in the open position and the closed position.
Electronic device including key button
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing including an outer surface configured to at least partially form an external appearance of the electronic device, a button accommodation recess having a predetermined depth from the outer surface in a first direction oriented to the inner space of the electronic device, and at least one through-hole connected to the inner surface of the housing in the button accommodation recess, a key button disposed through the button accommodation recess, and including a key top inserted into the button accommodation recess and at least partially exposed to the outside, and a key base coupled to the key top, and including a protrusion facing a key flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) disposed in the inner space through the at least one through-hole. The protrusion may include an engagement portion formed at an end thereof to be larger than the protrusion.

PACKAGE-INTEGRATED BISTABLE SWITCH FOR ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD) PROTECTION
Embodiments may relate to a package substrate that includes a signal line and a ground line. The package substrate may further include a switch communicatively coupled with the ground line. The switch may have an open position where the switch is communicatively decoupled with the signal line, and a closed position where the switch is communicatively coupled with the signal line. Other embodiments may be described or claimed.

Switch device having swinging-type operation
A switch device which is capable of ensuring mounting strength of an additional member while ensuring ease of operation. The switch device has an operating knob that transmits an input operation to a switch unit with an electric contact, and a housing that houses a switch unit. The housing that houses the switch unit has an opening via which the switch unit and the operating knob face each other. The housing has a water prevention wall installed in a standing manner to surround the opening. The operating knob has a box-shaped base member with one end thereof opened. An additional member with at least one insertion portion which is inserted into a through hole of the base member is mounted on the base member. The insertion portion extends to cross a standing direction of the water prevention wall, and as seen in the standing direction, the insertion portion and the opening are located away from each other.
LEVER SWITCH AND AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL DEVICE
A lever switch includes a lever main body and a rotary operation element rotatably provided at a tip end portion of the lever main body. The rotary operation element is provided with a light ON switch position at which an instruction to cause head lights and small lights to be on at all times is issued, an automatic light switch position at which an instruction to set an automatic light mode, in which a turned-on state of the head lights and the small lights is controlled based on the intensity of illumination in the vicinity of the vehicle, is issued, and a light OFF switch position at which an instruction to turn the head lights off is issued, the light ON switch position, the automatic light switch position, and the light OFF switch position being arranged in an order along a rotation direction.
Push-button switch
A push-button switch may include a housing, an operation unit, a lock lever unit, and a biasing portion. A lever support portion may be connected to the operation unit so as to be movable together with the operation unit when a lever body is positioned at a second position. The housing may have a deformation portion that, when the operation unit is pulled in an opening direction when the lever body is positioned at the second position, deforms the lever body so as to be capable of releasing the pressing to the lever body by a holding unit.
