A key structure comprises a substrate, a membrane circuit disposed on the substrate, a waterproof structure disposed on the membrane circuit, a keycap, a conduction switch and a scissors structure. The waterproof structure includes a waterproof plate and a waterproof wall with a through hole. The waterproof wall surrounds the through hole and extends opposite to the membrane circuit. An end of the conduction switch passes through the through hole to be disposed on the membrane circuit, and the other end of the conduction switch protrudes from the waterproof wall to be connected to the keycap. The scissors structure includes a first end portion and a second end portion. The first end portion is pivotally connected to the keycap, and the second end portion is pivotally connected to the waterproof wall for the keycap to move up and down relatively to the membrane circuit.

Thermally fused spacers

Example implementations relate to thermally fused spacers. In one example, keyboard membranes including thermally fused spacers include a first circuit including a first conductive trace and a first key contact of the keyboard membrane, where the first conductive trace is coupled to the first key contact, a second circuit including a second conductive trace and a second key contact of the keyboard membrane, where the second conductive trace is coupled to the second key contact, and wherein the second key contact is to couple to the first key contact, and a spacer formed of a layer of thermoplastic material, a first thermoplastic film, and a second thermoplastic film, where the spacer is fused via the first thermoplastic film to the first circuit and via the second thermoplastic film to the second circuit.

Thin-film switch

A thin-film switch includes an upper conducting layer, a lower conducting layer and an insulating layer, wherein the insulating layer is located between the upper conducting layer and the lower conducting layer, one of the upper conducting layer and the lower conducting layer includes a conducting circuit layer and an anode triggering portion and a cathode triggering portion that are arranged on the conducting circuit layer, the other layer includes a first base material and a conductor that is arranged on the first base material and is conducted with the anode triggering portion and the cathode triggering portion. Both the anode triggering portion and the cathode triggering portion are arranged on the upper conducting layer or the lower conducting layer at the same time, the corresponding lower conducting layer or upper conducting layer is provided with the conductor with a conducting function, the conductor contacts with both the anode triggering portion and the cathode triggering portion at the same time when pressing the thin-film switch, both the anode and the cathode are conducted, and the switch is on.
