MOLDED BUTTONS
20240047153 · 2024-02-08 ·

Examples of molded buttons are described. In some examples, a button includes a transparent molded member. The button includes an opaque molded member attached to the transparent molded member. The opaque molded member includes a shield positioned along an edge of the transparent molded member. The shield is disposed to reduce backlight from exiting at the edge of the transparent molded member.

Control Panel Push Button

A push button for a control panel. The push button includes a button body and a reflector molded as a single, monolithic piece with links extending between the button body and the reflector. A divider of the button body is between a first light source of a printed circuit board and an indicator light guide of the button body. The divider restricts light from the first light source from illuminating the indicator light guide.

KEYCAP FORMING METHOD

A keycap forming method includes the following steps. Firstly, a stabilizer bar is formed through a first male mold and a first female mold according to an injection molding process, and a keycap is formed through a second male mold and a second female mold according to the injection molding process. Then, the stabilizer bar is fixed on the first male mold, and the keycap is fixed on the second female mold. Then, the first male mold and the second female mold are stacked on each other, so that the stabilizer bar and the keycap are combined together. Then, the first male mold and the second female mold are separated from each other, so that the stabilizer bar is detached from the first male mold. By using the keycap forming method, it is not necessary to manually assemble the stabilizer bar with the keycap.

RESIN STRUCTURE, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING RESIN STRUCTURE

A resin structure includes a molded resin element and a push-type switch. The push-type switch includes a receptacle whereon a first terminal and a second terminal are secured, the first terminal and the second terminal configured to connect to an electrical circuit; a button unit protruding from the receptacle; and a contact spring unit configured to move with the button unit, to electrically connect between the first terminal and the second terminal, and to generate an opposing force relative to a pressure applied between the receptacle and the button unit. The receptacle stores the button unit and the contact spring unit. The receptacle of the push-type switch is embedded in the molded resin element with the button unit exposed from the molded resin element.

Switch

A neuromuscular stimulation device is described having a plastic casing housing a printed circuit board bearing control electronics, with the casing including an external integral flexible portion which is capable of being flexed into the interior of the casing so as to cause an electrically insulative substrate on which is carried an electrically conductive pathway to be pushed into contact with the PCB in order to complete an electrical circuit. Such a switch is relatively inexpensive to produce, as it has few moving parts, can be formed in a usual manufacturing process, and is robust.

Vehicle control panel comprising a switch

The present invention relates to a vehicle control panel comprising a switch cap comprising electrical connection pads arranged on a side of the switch cap, and an electric circuit printed on an inside surface of the switch cap associated with selecting a state of the function. A panel member has an opening in which the switch cap is pivotally and releasably attached. The panel member has electrical circuit closing members attached on an inner surface of the panel member. Pairs of the electrical connection pads are adapted to coincide and make contact with a respective one of the electrical circuit closing members to close an electric circuit portion in the switch cap such that an external electrical circuitry operates the function.

Key tappet for a key module of a key for a keyboard, key module of a key for a keyboard and method for producing it

The invention proposes a key tappet for a key module of a key for a keyboard. The key tappet comprises a coupling section for coupling a key button and a guiding section for guiding the key tappet in a receiving section of the key module upon actuation of the key tappet. The guiding section has at least one sliding section to slide in the receiving section of the key module during the actuation of the key tappet. Demolding fins caused by demolding of the key tappet are arranged outside the at least one sliding section.

Production method for a membrane switch member

A method for manufacturing a membrane switch member that can be manufactured easily and that can be caused to function as an electrostatic sensor even when a protruding portion is pressed. Injection molding by injecting a material including a supercritical fluid gas and a resin material in a mixed state; and, after the injection molding, removing a first mold from a second mold, causing gas produced within the injection molded resin to grow in concave portions, thereby causing the concave portions to invert to a protruding state; and manufacturing a membrane switch member in which voids are formed between the protruding portions and a molding resin layer, and portions other than the portions corresponding to the protruding portions are adhered to the resin layer by an adhesion layer.
