A waterproof apparatus for a terminal side key and a terminal are disclosed. The apparatus includes: a terminal shell (1) with a sidewall hole that is filled with a terminal side key (3), and a terminal side-key circuit board component (2) connected to a terminal mainboard (4), herein, the terminal side-key circuit board component (2) includes: a side-key circuit board (23), an arched metal film (22) fixedly connected to the side-key circuit board, and a circuit board waterproof ring (21) used for wrapping the side-key circuit board (23) and the arched metal film (22) as a whole, herein, the circuit board waterproof ring (21) wrapping the side-key circuit board (23) and the arched metal film (22) as a whole is combined with a sidewall of the terminal shell (1) in an interference-fitted manner.

A waterproof key apparatus, as an electronic device, is provided. The waterproof key apparatus includes a main case, a key module attached to a side of the main case and comprises a key actuator, a window to which the key module is coupled, a universal serial bus (USB) coupling module and a printed circuit board (PCB) attached to an opposite side of the main case, with a dome sheet therebetween, a key bracket and an antenna cap coupled to the lower portion of the PCB, and a sealing part attached between the main case and the PCB to seal the rear surface of the PCB.

A waterproof presskey structure includes a shell, a button or presskey, and an elastic element. The elastic element and the shell can be assembled together with gum, the presskey is movably assembled to the shell and matches with the elastic element. The elastic element comprises a tubular structure having an elastic wall. The elastic wall is arched, and the elastic wall projects out towards within the tubular structure. For the arched elastic wall stretches under pressure from the button or presskey, an assembly of the elastic element and other parts is not affected, the elastic element cannot be separated from the shell due to the gum failing, and water resistance between the presskey and the shell is increased.

An assistive touch button and an electronic device protective case are provided. The assistive touch button includes an insulation button block and a plurality of conductive columns; a bottom surface of the insulation button block is attached to a touch surface of a capture button; the plurality of conductive columns are arranged in a spacing manner on the insulation button block; head ends of the plurality of conductive columns extend to a top surface of the insulation button block; and tail ends of the plurality of conductive columns extend to the bottom surface of the insulation button block and abut against touch points of the touch surface. The electronic device protective case includes a case body and an assistive touch button that is mounted on the case body and corresponds to the capture button.

A waterproof structure for a button includes a casing, a button, and an elastic member. The elastic member is arranged on the casing and is contacted by the elastic member. The elastic member is integrated with the casing. The elastic member includes a tubular structure arranging an arc-shaped structure protruding towards interior of the tubular structure. The elastic wall allows a range of elastic travel to activate the switch under the button. The elastic member is a built-in component.

A protective case can house a portable electronic device. The portable electronic device can have a switch (e.g., for switching an operational mode of the portable electronic device). The protective case can have a switch cover that engages the switch of the portable electronic device when the portable electronic device is in the protective case. The switch cover can be moved between positions corresponding to positions of the switch of the portable electronic device. As the switch cover is moved, the switch cover correspondingly moves the switch.

A housing assembly for a mobile device includes a cover formed from optically transmissive material, and opaque material formed over a portion of the cover. The opaque material is arranged to define a display portion which is optically transmissive. The housing assembly further includes a frame sized to receive the cover, and a first housing structured to couple with the frame, such that the cover, the frame, and the first housing are structured to define an enclosure sized to contain electrical components for the mobile device.

A waterproof structure for a button includes a casing, a button, and an elastic member. The elastic member is arranged on the casing and is contacted by the elastic member. The elastic member is integrated with the casing. The elastic member includes a tubular structure arranging an arc-shaped structure protruding towards interior of the tubular structure. The elastic wall allows a range of elastic travel to activate the switch under the button. The elastic member is a built-in component.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing including an opening formed on one surface thereof and a first support member which is spaced apart from the one surface in a first direction and a position of at least part of the first support member corresponding to the opening, and a key assembly disposed between the opening and the first support member, wherein the key assembly includes a second support member disposed on the first support member, a printed circuit board which is disposed on the second support member, and including a switch, a waterproof bracket including a plate including a first surface which is oriented in the first direction, the first surface facing the switch, and a second surface facing in a second direction opposite to the first direction, the second surface corresponding to the opening, and a protrusion protruding from the second surface of the plate in the second direction, and a cover member inserted into the opening and coupled to the waterproof bracket, wherein the protrusion includes a hook having a first size protruding in a direction perpendicular to the first direction, wherein the cover member includes a hanging hole formed, in at least a portion of a side surface thereof, to have a second size larger than the first size so that the hook is insertable into the hanging hole, and wherein a relative position of the hook inside of the hanging hole is variable.

A portable electronic device includes a casing with a casing pivotal portion and a key device. The key device is installed on the casing and includes a button cap. The button cap includes a cap pivotal portion, a first cap body and a second cap body. The cap pivotal portion is pivoted to the casing pivotal portion. The first cap body extends from the cap pivotal portion along a first axis. The second cap body extends from the first cap body along a second axis. The button cap rotates in an activating direction when the first cap body is applied by an external force along the first axis or when the second cap body is applied by the external force along the second axis.
