Integrated electronic switch and control module for a power tool
An electronic switch and control module for a power tool having an electric motor is provided. The module includes a printed circuit board (PCB), an encapsulation member forming an enclosed compartment enclosing a portion of a surface of the PCB, and power switches mounted on the surface of the PCB outside the enclosed compartment, where the power switches are electrically configured to switchably connect a supply of electric power from a power source to the electric motor. The module further includes an input unit having at least one electro-mechanical element at least partially disposed within the enclosed component and generating a signal for controlling a switching operation of the plurality of power switches.
CONTACT STRUCTURE FOR SWITCH, TRIGGER SWITCH AND ELECTRIC POWER TOOL
The switch opening-closing mechanism, which makes it possible to increase a contact force so as to improve a vibration resistance, includes a sliding part, a second movable piece, and a second fixed contact. In a case where an amount of movement of a sliding part reaches a second retraction amount, the second movable piece comes into contact with the second fixed contact due to a spring force applied to the second movable piece. In a case where the amount of movement of the sliding part reaches a third retraction amount which is larger than a second retraction amount, the sliding part presses the second movable piece against the second fixed contact.
Electric switch
An electric switch for electrical devices that includes a circuit board immovably arranged in a switch housing, the circuit board includes on one of its surfaces the contact paths of a contact system as well as contact surfaces in the form of potentiometer tracks. The contact paths interact with sliding contacts of the contact system and the potentiometer tracks interact with additional sliding contacts in order to set the revolutions per minute or the torque of the electric motor, movement of the plunger causes the sliding contacts of the contact system to come into contact with the associated contact paths, and, in this position of the plunger, which is the on position of the switch, the sliding contacts used for changing the direction of rotation are in the same way already in contact with the associated potentiometer tracks on the circuit board.
Replaceable trigger components
A trigger retention mechanism for a device that includes a depressible trigger and a bushing releasably coupled to a housing by a releasable fastener, such as an E-clip. The retention mechanism can also include O-rings to provide an air-tight seal between the bushing and the housing. To replace the retention mechanism, a user need only release the fastener and pull the bushing outwardly from its position within the housing, rather than replacing the entire handle or trigger assembly.
Electrical switch, in particular a switch for an electrical power tool
An electrical switch for an electric power tool. The electrical switch has a contact system that can be switched between an off position and an on position, and having a movable actuating means or switching the contact system. The actuating means comprises a plunger and a contact piece. The contact piece acts on the contact system for the purpose of switching. A coupling element is provided, such that the plunger can be brought into and out of interaction with the contact piece. The interaction is effected such that it is made possible for the contact system to be switched into the on position and the off position by means of the plunger, and for the contact system to be switched into the off position independently of the plunger.
LOCKING SYSTEM FOR USE WITH A TRIGGER ASSEMBLY OF AN ELECTRICAL DEVICE
A trigger assembly for use with an electrical device, including a trigger member, an actuator member operably-connected to the trigger member, and a lock-on mechanism for selectably restricting movement of the trigger member relative to the housing.
ELECTRIC POWER TOOL
An electric power tool has a tool housing, and a trigger switch fixed inside the tool housing. The tool housing internally has a trigger switch fixing unit configured to fix the trigger switch. The trigger switch fixing unit is provided with a vibration damping elastic body interposed between the trigger switch fixing unit and the trigger switch.
Device with movable buttons or switches
A surgical device comprising: (a) one or more functional elements, and (b) a selector assembly including: (i) one or more activation buttons, (ii) one or more circuit board switches, and (iii) a shuttle in communication with the circuit board switches or the one or more activation buttons to move the circuit board switches or the activation buttons between at least a first position and a second position so that the circuit board switches or the activation buttons are moveable relative to each other; wherein the one or more functional elements provide a first function when the circuit board switches or the one or more activation buttons are in the first position, and the one or more functional elements provide a second function when the circuit board switches or the one or more activation buttons are in the second position.
Electronic switch module with oppositely-arranged power switches and discrete heat sinks
An electronic module is provided including a circuit board defining a longitudinal axis and having a first surface and a second surface. A module housing is provided having a bottom surface and side walls extending from the bottom surface to form an open face through which the circuit board is received. Power switches configured as an inverter circuit to drive an electric motor are mounted on the second surface of the circuit board facing the bottom surface of the module housing, and a series of heat sinks are discretely mounted on the first surface of the circuit board facing the open face opposite the power switches. Potting material is disposed in the distance between the circuit board and the bottom surface of the module housing to cover the power switches. Thermal vias are disposed through the circuit board between corresponding ones of the heat sinks and the power switches.
Switch
A switch according to one or more embodiments may include a movable unit movable in response to an operation. A drive unit is drivable in response to movement of the movable unit. The switch may include an operation-linked unit movable in response to the movement of the movable unit and an operation follower unit spaced from the operation-linked unit to move in response to movement of the operation-linked unit with a magnetic force between the operation follower unit and the operation-linked unit. At least one of the operation-linked unit or the operation follower unit is magnetic. The drive unit is drivable in response to movement of the operation follower unit. The operation follower unit accommodated in a chamber is spaced from the operation-linked unit.
