TOUCHLESS TRIGGER APPARATUS
20210336619 · 2021-10-28 ·

A touchless trigger apparatus is touchless button, comprising a photon-gate side, a photon-gate distal side more than 1 cm (11.0 in) and less than 30 cm (11.0 in) across the photon-gate opening, to the photon-gate side. An electro-optical sensor is connected to the photon-gate side. An ASIC controller is connected to the output of the electro-optical sensor. Lastly a button face is within the opening of the photon gate. Alternatively, a touchless trigger apparatus is a touchless pushbutton, or a touchless switch. Any person or primate trained to use a button, pushbutton or switch could intuitively learn to use a touchless trigger apparatus due to its recognizable combination of elements and low-latency feedback before touching the button, the pushbutton or the switch.

Control devices having independently suspended buttons for controlled actuation

A control device includes a button assembly having one or more buttons and a button carrier that includes a plurality of resilient, independently deflectable spring arms. The control device may be configured as a wall-mounted keypad to control a load control device, or as a thermostat to control a temperature regulation appliance. The button carrier may be configured to prevent interference between the buttons during operation of the control device. The button assembly may be captured between a faceplate of the control device and a housing that is attached to a rear side of the faceplate. The control device may include one or more button retainers that are attached to the buttons and that are configured to align respective outer surfaces of the buttons relative to each other, and relative to the faceplate of the control device, when the buttons are in respective rest positions.

LASER-CUT BUTTON VENEER FOR A CONTROL DEVICE HAVING A BACKLIT KEYPAD

A veneer configured to be secured to a backlit button of a control device may include a plate portion. The plate portion may have one or more laser-cut indicia defined therethrough, may have laser-cut rounded corners, and may have angularly offset outer edges that may be defined during an embossing process. The laser-cut indicia may be representative of a command for controlling an electrical load. The indicia may include an alphanumeric character, an icon, or the like, may define one or more substantially zero-radius corners, and may define respective inner surfaces that are substantially perpendicular to an outer surface of the plate portion. A laser-cut alphanumeric character may have variable (e.g., continuously variable) line width. The plate portion may define a rib that suspends a floating portion of the alphanumeric character relative to an open portion. The rib may define a thickness that does not exceed 0.003 inches.

The present disclosure provides lighting control system multi-switch apparatuses and methods. The apparatus includes a lighting control module including at least three electrical terminals. The lighting control module configured to cause a transmission of a quantity of electrical energy to a lighting circuit of a light fixture electrically connected to the lighting control module. The apparatus includes a detector circuit positioned in the lighting control module. The apparatus includes a controller in electrical communication with the detector circuit, the controller specially programmed to cause a call signal to be transmitted to a switch connected to the traveler terminal, the call signal configured to request the switch connected to the traveler terminal transmit a response signal to the controller to identify the switch connected to the traveler terminal.

STERILE HANDLE CONTROL MECHANISM

A surgical light including a light housing having at least one light source therein and a handle assembly extending from the light housing, with the handle assembly including a knob and a cover. The handle assembly is rotatably connected to the light housing. The cover covers the knob. Engaging the cover in a first mode and rotating the knob alters a first characteristic of light emitted from the at least one light source. Engaging the cover in a second mode and rotating the knob alters a second characteristic of light emitted from the at least one light source.

Switch apparatus

A switch apparatus adapted to be disposed on a wall surface includes a box, a heat generating element, a cover, a switch element, and a first heat dissipation structure. The box has an opening and is adapted to be embedded into the wall surface. The heat generating element is disposed inside the box. The cover is assembled to the box and covers the opening. The cover has a front surface and a rear surface opposite to each other. The rear surface faces toward the box, and the front surface is adapted to be exposed from the wall surface. The switch element is disposed on the front surface. The first heat dissipation structure includes first and second sections connected with each other. The first section is connected with the cover and exposed from the front surface, and the second section extends into the box and contacts the heat generating element.
