Thin profile sealed button assembly
A sealed button assembly including a button cap, a push rod, a button retainer, and a bracket is described. The bracket can couple to the button retainer which itself can interlock with the button cap and push rod through a counterbore, the counterbore being defined in a sidewall of the housing of an electronic device.
Key structure with mechanical switch and mechanical switch thereof
A key structure with mechanical switch includes a keycap, a support plate board disposed under the keycap, a scissor unit, a receiving housing, a guiding outer cylinder, a rotating inner cylinder and an elastic element. The scissor unit guides the keycap up or down along a pressing direction. The receiving housing has a plurality of sectional boards and a plurality of sectional cutouts. The guiding outer cylinder is movably received in the receiving housing along the pressing direction, and abuts against a bottom surface of the keycap. The guiding outer cylinder has a plurality of positioning bumps and a plurality of lodging recesses. The rotating inner cylinder is received in the guiding outer cylinder and has a plurality of sliding bumps. The elastic element is located in the rotating inner cylinder to provide elasticity toward the keycap. The present disclosure also provides a mechanical switch.
Switch device
A switch device includes an operation part, a first push mechanism that, by a rotation operation of the operation part, selects and activates a first push switch part, a second push mechanism that, by a tilt operation of the operation part, activates a second push switch part, a circuit board including the first push switch part and the second push switch part mounted thereto, and a contact rubber interposed between the circuit board and the first and second push mechanisms. The contact rubber includes contacts corresponding to the first push switch part and the second push switch part and is configured such that the contacts contact with or separate from the corresponding switch parts by a movement of the first push mechanism and the second push mechanism. The contact rubber is formed so as to cover an entire upper surface of the circuit board.
Switch Assembly with Multi-Function Compound Switches
In one aspect, a switch assembly includes a switch housing that includes one or more compound switches, each comprising a first switch and a second switch embedded within the first switch. Each compound switch includes a first subassembly of constituent parts that includes the first switch and implements a first switching function. Each compound switch also includes a second subassembly of constituent parts embedded within and carried by the first subassembly of constituent parts. The second subassembly of constituent parts includes the second switch and implements a second switching function that is distinct from the first switching function. The switch assembly includes one or more extended plungers and corresponding guiding features that advantageously allow for the use of a single keypad and PCB with respect to the compound switches.
Switch Assembly with Integrated Switch Module Housings
In one aspect, a switch assembly includes two or more switch modules of different types and comprising different switch module subassemblies. The switch assembly also includes a switch housing having two or more sets of features integrally molded or formed in an underside or interior surface of the switch housing. Each set of features corresponds to a respective one of the different switch module subassemblies and comprises alignment and support features for the respective switch module subassembly.
Operator control device for a vehicle, in particular a passenger motor vehicle
A base element and at least one switching element are included in an operator control device which may be disposed in a vehicle. By closing at least one electrical contact, the switching element is moveable from a first position into a second position relative to the base element. The operator control device can also include at least one pushbutton switch moveable relative to the base element between a position of rest and at least one activation position. The operator control device can further include at least one restoring element, formed of silicone and supported on the base element and on the pushbutton switch, which can be elastically deformed by moving the pushbutton switch from the position of rest into the activation position. Using the restoring element, the pushbutton switch can be moved from the activation position into the position of rest by relaxing the restoring element.
Input device
An input device includes housing; operation nob; cam member swingable in a direction intersecting with pivoting direction of operation knob, and performing swinging as first movement in response to operation knob pivoting in first angular range and performing swinging as second movement succeeding first movement in response to operation knob pivoting in second angular range; substrate; first switch on substrate, switched on in conjunction with first movement of cam member; and second switch on substrate, switched on in conjunction with second movement of cam member. When operation force is ceased, operation knob is automatically restored by restoring forces from first and second switches. Input device includes: first actuator to be slid in conjunction with first movement of cam member to push first switch perpendicularly to substrate; and second actuator to be slid in conjunction with second movement of cam member to push second switch perpendicularly to substrate.
