ELECTRICAL SWITCHING APPARATUS AND ADJUSTABLE TRIP ASSEMBLY THEREFOR
An adjustable trip assembly is for an electrical switching apparatus. The electrical switching apparatus includes a housing, separable contacts and an operating mechanism for opening and closing the separable contacts. The adjustable trip assembly includes a load conductor, a magnetic assembly comprising a magnetic member and an armature movably coupled to the magnetic member, and a calibration assembly comprising a calibration bracket cooperating with the armature, and an adjustment mechanism being adjustable to move the calibration bracket and thereby adjust the position of the armature with respect to the magnetic member to calibrate the magnetic assembly. The magnetic assembly further includes a biasing element that biases the armature away from the magnetic member.
GAS CIRCUIT BREAKER
A gas circuit breaker that includes: a first tank filled with an insulating gas; a fixed contact provided inside the first tank; a movable contact provided inside the first tank; a nozzle that ejects the insulating gas toward the fixed contact when the movable contact moves in a first direction; a cylindrical body that guides the gas ejected from the nozzle in a second direction; and a second tank connected to the first tank in the second direction. The movable contact is movable between a position in contact with the fixed contact and a position separated from the fixed contact. The first direction is a direction in which the movable contact moves from the position in contact with the fixed contact to the position separated from the fixed contact. The second direction is a direction opposite to the first direction.
Electronic device and method for changing a working state of the electronic device
A method for toggling between different working states of an electronic device includes detecting temperature and pressure data from at least one sensor when a home button of the electronic device is pressed, and recording a duration of the pressing when the sensed data is within predetermined values. A current state of the electronic device and/or display screen is detected, and a working state is changed from the prevailing state to an opposite state, in dependence on the recorded duration of the pressing.
Safety mechanism for medical treatment device and associated methods
A safety mechanism for medical treatment devices includes a switch actuator that depresses a power activation switch after movement in a first direction followed movement in a second direction. The safety mechanism thus prevents accidental or unintentional delivery of power to a heating segment of the medical treatment device.
Pyrotechnically actuated switch
A switch may comprise a metal plate. A eutectic alloy may be proximate to the metal plate. An insulating material may be proximate to the insulating material. The insulating material may include a recess in the insulating material adjacent the eutectic alloy. A lead may be fixed in place by the insulating material. A first end of the lead is exposed from the insulating material by the recess.
Vacuum circuit breaker
The present disclosure provides a vacuum circuit breaker which can measure and monitor temperature of a tulip contactor, the vacuum circuit breaker comprising: a conductive pole including a tulip contactor; and a temperature detecting sensor disposed adjacent to the tulip contactor, wherein the temperature detecting sensor comprises: a sensor body; a fixing band coupled to the sensor body and disposed to surround a part of the conductive pole; and a temperature measurement part which comes into contact with a specific point of the tulip contactor to measure the temperature of the specific point, wherein a sensor insertion hole for accommodating a part of the temperature measurement part is recessedly formed at one surface of the tulip contactor facing the sensor body.
Safety interlocks for outlets
Power outlets adapted for installation within an enclosure are provided. Power outlets are provided having a safety interlock adapted to prevent the creation of a hazardous condition within the enclosure as a result of the continued operation of an electrical device within the enclosed space. The safety interlock may include current limiting circuitry and hardware, hazard sensing devices interconnected with such current limiting circuitry and hardware or other circuit breaker switches, and combinations of such safety interlocks.
System and method for providing indication of a closed switch
A system for collecting information related to an electrical switch. The system including a first switch, a second switch, and an external device. The external device is configured to receive the first and second signals corresponding to the first and second switches. Wherein the external device is located remotely from the first switch and the second switch.
