MHC CLASS II T-CELL MODULATORY MULTIMERIC POLYPEPTIDES AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF

The present disclosure provides T-cell modulatory multimeric polypeptides (TMMPs) comprising an autoimmune dis-ease-associated-associated peptide epitope, MHC class II polypeptides, and one or more immunomodulatory polypeptides. A TMMP of the present disclosure is useful for modulating activity of a T cell. Thus, the present disclosure provides compositions and methods for modulating the activity of T cells, as well as compositions and methods for treating persons who have an autoimmune disease.

Disclosed are peptides comprising a monomeric Fc fragment of an immunoglobulin recognized by a neonatal receptor (FcRn); an influenza HA protein; and a trimerization domain. Disclosed are compositions comprising one or more of the peptides described herein. Disclosed are nucleic acid sequences capable of encoding any one of the peptides described herein. Disclosed are methods for eliciting a protective immune response against influenza comprising administering to a subject an effective amount of a composition comprising a monomeric Fc fragment of an immunoglobulin recognized by a FcRn; an influenza HA protein; and a trimerization domain, wherein the administering is to a mucosal epithelium. Disclosed are methods of treating a subject exposed to influenza or at risk of being exposed to influenza comprising administering to the subject an effective amount of a composition comprising a monomeric Fc fragment of an immunoglobulin recognized by a FcRn; an influenza HA protein; and a trimerization domain, wherein the administering is to a mucosal epithelium.

INDIVIDUALIZED THERAPEUTIC ANTICANCER VACCINE

The present invention relates to an individualized therapeutic anticancer vaccine, methods of treatment of cancer wherein such an anticancer vaccine is used as well as methods for producing the vaccine.

CONSTRUCTION AND APPLICATION OF FUSION PROTEIN VACCINE PLATFORM
20230293679 · 2023-09-21 ·

The present invention relates to the construction and application of a fusion protein vaccine platform. The present invention provides a vaccine, comprising a fusion protein containing an interferon-target antigen-immunoglobulin Fc region (or antibody) and a Th cell helper epitope. The present invention also relates to use of a fusion protein containing an interferon-target antigen-immunoglobulin Fc region (or antibody) and a Th cell helper epitope in the preparation of prophylactic or therapeutic compositions. The vaccine of the present invention can be produced by eukaryotic cell expression systems to prepare wild-type and various mutant antigen vaccines, and vaccination by means of subcutaneous/muscular or nasal or other routes can lead to a strong immune response to a body. The vaccine of the present invention can be used as a prophylactic or therapeutic vaccine.

NUCLEIC ACID VACCINES FOR CORONAVIRUS
20230277652 · 2023-09-07 ·

Provided herein are therapeutic nucleic acid molecules for managing, preventing and/or treating infectious diseases caused by coronavirus. Also provided herein are therapeutic compositions, including vaccines and lipid nanoparticles, comprising the therapeutic nucleic acids and related therapeutic methods and uses.

IMMUNOGLOBULIN MEDIATED VACCINATIONS AGAINST VIRAL DISEASES
20230277651 · 2023-09-07 ·

Techniques for inhibiting viral disease are provided. The techniques include obtaining a blood product from a convalescent patient, and administering the blood product to a patient at risk of contracting the same type of virus in order to propagate immunoglobulin-based vaccination.

Cancer treatments

This invention relates to antibody-albumin nanoparticle complexes comprising albumin, an antibody with binding specificity for a cancer antigen (e.g. panitumumab), and paclitaxel, wherein the nanoparticle complex has been pre-formed in vitro such that the nanoparticle complex has antigen-binding specificity (e.g. EGFR binding specificity), for the purpose of providing cancer (e.g. EGFR-related cancer) treatments in a subject in need thereof.

Fusion proteins comprising an anti-CD40 antibody and cancer antigens

The present invention includes compositions and methods for the expression, secretion and use of novel compositions for use as, e.g., vaccines and antigen delivery vectors, to delivery antigens to antigen presenting cells. In one embodiment, the vector is an anti-CD40 antibody, or fragments thereof, and one or more antigenic peptides linked to the anti-CD40 antibody or fragments thereof, including humanized antibodies.

NOVEL SEVERE FEVER WITH THROMBOCYTOPENIA SYNDROME VIRUS
20230346909 · 2023-11-02 · ·

The present invention relates to a novel genotype of severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome viruses and use thereof as an immunogenic composition. The severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome viruses of the present invention are genetically different from conventional severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome viruses and are novel viruses taxonomically belonging to three sub-groups of genotype B. In view of the vaccine property that specific genotype viruses alone show only limited protective potential, the novel viruses of the present invention may be advantageously used as a vaccine having excellent cross-immunogenicity for SFTSV.

FUSION PROTEIN WITH IMMUNOENHANCING ACTIVITY
