Pharmacodynamics results show that the invented pharmaceutical formula can significantly reduce the level of inflammatory cytokines in the joint synovial fluid in arthritis rabbit model, and the formulated ointment can achieve better efficacy compared with Voltaren™ (diclofenac) ointment; therefore the proposed formula has promising clinical application.
