Handy base station system, device and method
A Handy Base Station (HBS) which is capable of connecting through a base portion into a power socket (e.g., lamp socket). The HBS may have a plurality of functional modules capable of being detachably mounted in a housing. One of the functional modules may be a light emitter such as a light emitting diode (LED). Another rmodule may be a communication module which may communicate using a wire line or wirelessly using standard wireless communication protocols. Further disclosed is a combination unit which has the HBS located on a pole such as a utility pole with a landing pad for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to allow the UAV a recharging location between deliveries and to allow the HBS to guide the UAV on its flight.
MICROELECTROMECHANICAL LIGHT EMITTER COMPONENT, LIGHT EMITTER COMPONENT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A MICROELECTROMECHANICAL LIGHT EMITTER COMPONENT
A microelectromechanical light emitter component comprises an emitter layer structure of the microelectromechanical light emitter component and an inductive structure of the microelectromechanical light emitter component. The inductive structure of the microelectromechanical light emitter component is configured to generate current in the emitter layer structure by electromagnetic induction, such that the emitter layer structure emits light. The emitter layer structure is electrically insulated from the inductive structure.
DIMMING CAP FOR A LAMP WITH TWO SEPARATE RADIATION SOURCES
The invention refers to a dimming cap for a lamp with two separate radiation sources and, in particular, for a two-filament incandescent lamp, which has a concave shape with a base surface from which a circumferential side wall extends at least to a height H.sub.0 above the base surface, wherein the dimming cap, in a cross section formed at a height H.sub.0 parallel to the base surface, has a width (w.sub.0) that is constant within a tolerance of 0.1 mm over a first longitudinal section of the dimming cap, and which decreases over a second longitudinal section extending from the first longitudinal section to a first end of the dimming cap, and the height of the sidewall corresponds within a tolerance of 0.1 mm over the first longitudinal section to the constant height H.sub.0, wherein it increases over the second longitudinal section, wherein the first longitudinal section is between 70% and 98% of the length of the dimming cap in the cross-section formed at the height H.sub.0. The invention further refers to a lamp with such a dimming cap.

Electrical lighting circuit for a portable light
A lighting circuit includes a controllable electronic device in series with a power terminal of a controller, wherein operation of a switch causes the controller to maintain the electronic device conductive, whereby the controller then remains powered; and wherein the controller responds to a subsequent operation of the switch to render the electronic device nonconductive, whereby the controller is then unpowered even when electrical power is received. The lighting circuit is suitable for use, e.g., in a portable or other battery powered light.
Liquid filament for incandescent lights
A filament for a light bulb includes a tube and a filament material within the tube, wherein the filament material is configured to be in a liquid state while the light bulb is in use.
Liquid filament for incandescent lights
A filament for a light bulb includes a tube and a filament material within the tube, wherein the filament material is configured to be in a liquid state while the light bulb is in use.
Wireless signal transmitting apparatus and wireless illumination control apparatus using the same
A wireless signal transmitting apparatus, includes: a piezoelectric harvester configured to generate electrical energy responsive to user switch manipulation; and, a wireless communication circuit configured to generate wireless signals from the electrical energy and wirelessly transmit the wireless signals to an external wireless power receiving device.
LED tube lamp
An LED tube lamp includes a glass tube, two end caps, a power supply, and an LED light strip. The glass tube includes a main body region, two rear end regions, and two transition regions connecting the main body region and the rear end regions. The end cap is disposed at one end of the glass tube and the power supply is provided inside the end cap. The LED light strip is disposed inside the glass tube and has LED light sources disposed thereon. The LED light strip includes a bendable circuit sheet mounted on inner surface of the glass tube. The bendable circuit sheet of the LED light strip is formed with a freely extending end portion at one end, and the freely extending end portion is electrically connected to the power supply. The glass tube and the end cap are secured by a hot melt adhesive.
LED Light
An LED light contains: a connector and a base. The connector includes an integrated circuit (IC) chip mounted therein, a threaded extension extending outwardly from a bottom of the connector, and a transparent disc fixed on a top of the connector. The base includes a threaded orifice defined thereon so as to screw with the threaded extension of the connector. In addition, the IC chip has a plurality of LED elements arranged thereon and has an electronic wire connected therewith.
