DUPLEXED BASE STATION ANTENNAS
Base station antennas are provided. A base station antenna includes a plurality of arrays of radiating elements. The antenna includes a downlink radio frequency (RF) feed network that is configured to filter downlink portions of different frequency bands and that couples the filtered downlink portions of the different frequency bands to the arrays. Moreover, the antenna includes an uplink RF feed network that couples uplink portions of the different frequency bands to the arrays and that is separate from the downlink RF feed network.
Mounting structure for data communication apparatus and system
A mounting structure for protecting a transceiver located on an underside of a manhole cover is formed from a metal or rugged plastic in the shape of a truncated dome or cone with a sloping sidewall and a cavity configured to receive a transceiver, wherein the mounting structure is mountable to an underside of the manhole cover. A data communication system for an enclosure comprises a transceiver configured to communicate with a network outside of the enclosure and a mounting structure to mount the transceiver to an underside of the manhole cover. The mounting structure is configured to protect the transceiver from damage during removal of the manhole cover from the entrance port of the enclosure.
Pressure-resistant explosion-proof container having a slit waveguide
To provide a pressure-resistant explosion-proof container in which a wireless circuit housed inside the pressure-resistant explosion-proof container can transmit and receive a high frequency signal, without installing an antenna outside. A pressure-resistant explosion-proof container includes a container made of metal, a slit functioning as an explosion-proof clearance that is formed by penetrating a wall surface of the container, and a cavity resonator that is provided in the container and in which an antenna is built that transmits and receives a high frequency signal by using the slit as a waveguide.
OFFSET EXTENSION UNITS FOR ANTENNA MOUNTS AND RELATED ASSEMBLIES
The present disclosure describes a sector frame antenna mount assembly. The assembly includes an antenna mount, a sector frame, and a pair of offset extension units. The pair of offset extension units are configured to position the sector frame an increased distance from a mounting structure.
Substrate for Supporting Antenna Pattern and Antenna Using Same
The present invention relates to a substrate for supporting an antenna pattern. The substrate includes a porous anodic oxide layer having a plurality of pores formed by anodizing metal. A metallic material is filled in at least a part of the pores.
Antenna system and base station
This application provides an antenna system and a base station. The antenna system includes a radiation array, a transceiver (TRX) unit, and a filter bank. The radiation array includes a transmit antenna element group and a receive antenna element group that are separately disposed. The transmit antenna element group is configured to transmit a signal, and the receive antenna element group is configured to receive a signal. The TRX unit includes a transmit module and a receive module. The filter bank includes a first-type filter and a second-type filter. The first-type filter is connected between the transmit antenna element group and the transmit module, and the second-type filter is connected between the receive antenna element group and the receive module. The antenna system in this application can reduce interference between a passive intermodulation (PIM) signal generated by a transmitted signal and a received signal.
Controlled energy adsorption by self-limiting heating for curing processes
Methods for manufacturing RFID devices are provided with self-limiting heating features. Inducing current flow through the antenna of an RFID device (e.g., by exposing the antenna to a changing magnetic field) will increase heat of the RFID device, thereby curing/sintering elements of the RFID device (which may include curing an adhesive used to couple the antenna to an RFID chip) without applying external heat, which typically heats regions of the RFID device that were not intended to be heated (e.g., the substrate to which the antenna is secured). Inducing current flow through the antenna of an RFID device will reduce the resistance of the antenna, which has a heat-limiting effect that prevents overheating of the RFID device. Inducing current flow may also change the resonant frequency of the antenna, which may provide another heat-limiting effect.
MAGNETIC ABSORBERS FOR PASSIVE INTERMODULATION MITIGATION
A wireless communication system including an electrically conductive passive medium capable of simultaneously propagating therealong electromagnetic first and second currents at different respective frequencies F1 and F2, the electrically conductive passive medium including an electrically conductive first passive linear medium portion adjacent an electrically conductive first passive nonlinear medium portion, the first passive nonlinear medium portion capable of generating an intermodulation current based on a nonlinear interaction between the first and second currents, the intermodulation current having a frequency Fi equal to nF1+mF2 and propagating along the first passive nonlinear medium portion, m and n being positive or negative integers; and a first magnetic film disposed proximate an electrically conductive external surface of the first linear medium portion, such that when the first and second currents propagate along the first passive linear medium portion toward the first passive nonlinear medium portion, the magnetic film reduces or prevents the generation of the intermodulation current in the first passive nonlinear medium portion by attenuating at least portions of the first and second currents.
RADIO FREQUENCY HANDSET CALIBRATION BASED ON ANTENNA GAIN
A radio frequency device includes antennas, transmitters, power detectors, a memory storing instructions and an antenna gain lookup table, and processors. The processors execute instructions that include instructing the transmitters to send transmission signals through the antennas to form a first beamformed signal having a first beam direction and a first frequency using multiple input powers. The instructions include determining radio frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) gains associated with the transmitters based on the transmission signals using the power detectors. Moreover, the instructions include determining the antenna gains for the antennas based on the first beam direction and the first frequency of the first beamformed signal, and the antenna gain lookup table. The instructions also include determining total gains based on the RFIC gains and the antenna gains, and adjusting the input powers based on the total gains and a back off power signal.
Methods And Devices For Protecting Antenna Components From Contaminants
Sealing portions of an orthomode transducer or another antenna component is accomplished by forming first and second receptacles or channels in one half or portion of the transducer and inserting first and second type of compressible sealing components into the receptacles. Upon attaching additional portions of the transducer the compressible sealing components may be compressed, but the compression is limited to an amount within a compression range to maintain a seal.
