An antenna system for space applications provides a membrane antenna with one or more flexible membranes. An antenna enclosure stores the membrane antenna during stowage. One or more first deployable support structures extend along a first axis from the antenna enclosure during deployment, at least a first point of the membrane antenna being operably anchored to a point on the first deployable support structures. Deployment mechanisms are operably anchored at a junction with the first deployable support structures. The deployment mechanisms extend one or more second deployable support structures along a second axis from the first deployable support structures during deployment. At least a second point of the membrane antenna is operably anchored to a point on the second deployable support structures. Extension of the first deployable support structures and second deployable support structures unfurls the membrane antenna along both axes to overlap the junction.

The present disclosure relates to an antenna mounting device and a base station antenna system. The antenna mounting device includes a hinge device and an adjustment arm. The hinge device is configured to be mounted to a pole by a clamp and configured to pivotally connect a base station antenna arrangement. The adjustment arm is configured to be mounted to the pole by a clamp and configured to connect the base station antenna arrangement. The connection of the hinge device with the base station antenna arrangement is located in a middle region of a longitudinal extension of the base station antenna arrangement [having a longitudinal extension] of a maximum of ⅓ of the longitudinal extension of the base station antenna arrangement. A connection of the adjustment arm with the base station antenna arrangement is located in one of two end regions of the base station antenna arrangement. The adjustment arm has a plurality of connection positions for the corresponding clamp, which are configured to define a plurality of different mechanical tilt angles of the base station antenna arrangement about the hinge device. The antenna mounting device realizes easy adjustment of the mechanical tilt angle and good resistance against external disturbance loads.

An antenna assembly for a transceiver having first antennas arranged on a circuit board, a transmitting and receiving circuit arranged on the circuit board. The first antennas are connected to the transmitting and receiving circuit. Second antennas and terminating resistors are arranged on the circuit board. Each second antenna is connected to one of the terminating resistors by means of a strip line. At least one first contact for measuring HF properties of one of the second antennas and / or at least one second contact for measuring HF properties of the terminating resistor connected to the measurement antenna is arranged on the circuit board. The strip line between the measurement antenna and the terminating resistor is disconnectable at a disconnection point, and the strip line forms, on the side of the disconnection point nearest the measurement antenna, a third contact for measuring the HF properties of the measurement antenna.

A low-PIM dual pipe clamp and associated mounting bracket for securing a first pipe transverse to a second pipe at a cellular base station antenna site. The dual pipe clamp accommodates a range of pipe diameters with lower PIM generation, cost, and weight characteristics compared to conventional dual pipe clamps traditionally used at cell sites. The low-PIM dual pipe clamp minimizes the number of parts to upper and lower mounting brackets connected by linear threaded rod connectors, such as bolts, avoiding the use of U-bolts known to create PIM interference in conventional designs. The dual pipe clamp secures first and second pipes against each other in transverse orientations (e.g., horizontal and vertical), as typically utilized to mount antennas at cellular base stations. Each mounting bracket includes first and second pipe restrainers that bias the first and second pipes against each other as the threaded rod connectors are tightened.

An antenna apparatus includes a conductive radiating element, a conductive member, and a first impedance circuit. Accordingly, the radiating element defines and functions as a standing-wave antenna that contributes to electric-field radiation and a loop portion including the radiating element, the conductive member, and the first impedance circuit defines and functions as a magnetic-field radiation antenna that contributes to magnetic-field radiation.
