Antenna aperture in phased array antenna systems
In some embodiments, a phased array antenna includes a carrier; a first plurality of antenna elements carried by the carrier and configured to transmit and/or receive signals at a first value of a parameter, and a second plurality of antenna elements carried by the carrier and configured to transmit and/or receive signals at a second value of the parameter different from the first value of the parameter. The antenna elements of the first plurality of antenna elements and the second plurality of antenna elements are located within a common aperture of the phased array antenna.

In some embodiments, a phased array antenna includes a carrier; a first plurality of antenna elements carried by the carrier and configured to transmit and/or receive signals at a first value of a parameter, and a second plurality of antenna elements carried by the carrier and configured to transmit and/or receive signals at a second value of the parameter different from the first value of the parameter. The antenna elements of the first plurality of antenna elements and the second plurality of antenna elements are located within a common aperture of the phased array antenna.

A display device includes a display panel, a conductive layer disposed on the display panel and including a plurality of first patterns and a plurality of second patterns having a shape different from the first patterns, and an antenna element spaced from the conductive layer and operating in each of a first frequency band and a second frequency band. A first signal within the first frequency band constructively interferes with a first reflected signal corresponding to the first signal reflected at least partially by the first patterns, and a second signal within the second frequency band constructively interferes with a second reflected signal corresponding to the second signal reflected at least partially by the second patterns.

Antenna device and manufacturing method thereof
An antenna device includes a first substrate, a second substrate, an antenna layer, and a redistribution layer. The first substrate has a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and an inclined sidewall adjoining the first and second surfaces. The second substrate is below the first substrate. The first surface of the first substrate faces toward the second substrate. The antenna layer is located on the first surface of the first substrate. The redistribution layer extends from the second surface of the first substrate to the second substrate along the inclined sidewall of the first substrate, and the redistribution layer has a first section in contact with an end of the antenna layer.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING ANTENNA
According to an embodiment, an electronic device may include a side member including a conductive part and a first non-conductive part, a frame member disposed on at least a portion of the side member to be at least partially visible from an exterior, a second non-conductive part disposed between the frame member and the first non-conductive part, at least one conductive member disposed between the second non-conductive part and the first non-conductive part, at least one conductive structure disposed near the conductive member in an internal space of the electronic device, and a wireless communication circuit disposed in the internal space and configured to transmit or receive via the at least one conductive member. The conductive member may include a stepped portion so that at least a portion of the conductive member may be disposed in a direction away from the conductive structure.
Electronic Lock
A lock includes a cable configured as an antenna, a shackle pin connected to one end of the cable, and a lock body connected to another end of the cable. The lock body includes a channel for the shackle pin, at least one lock member adjacent the channel pivotable from an open position disengaged from the shackle pin to a closed position engaging the shackle pin, a retainer associated with a lock member driven from a released position disengaged from the lock member to an engaged position retaining the lock member in the closed position, and an electrically driven linear actuator driving the retainer to the released position in response to a signal received by a receiver via the antenna.
Acoustic output device
To reduce the effect on the communication performance of an antenna to secure a good communication state with respect to the antenna. An acoustic output device includes a speaker for outputting sound, a cell having one surface facing in a facing direction represented by a predetermined direction, a control board for controlling predetermined parts, and an antenna for sending and receiving signals, the antenna having at least a portion spaced from the control board and the cell. The cell and the control board are positioned side by side with each other in directions different from thicknesswise directions of the control board. The facing direction is different from the directions in which the cell and the control board are side by side with each other. The antenna is positioned side by side with at least one of the control board or the cell in the thicknesswise directions or the facing direction.
