Phase-compensated waveguides and related sensor assemblies

Waveguide and/or antenna structures for use in RADAR sensor assemblies and the like. In some embodiments, an antenna module may comprise a waveguide and an antenna structure, such as one or more slots/slits operably coupled with the waveguide groove. The antenna structure may be positioned and configured to deliver electromagnetic radiation from the waveguide therethrough. A plurality of tapering surfaces may be formed along the antenna structure. Each of the plurality of tapering surfaces may be formed so as to alternate between opposing sides of the antenna structure and be spaced apart from each adjacent tapering surface of the plurality of tapering surfaces.

Composite Right/Left-Handed Transmission Line Antenna

A composite right/left-handed transmission line antenna includes a first radiator, a second radiator, and a capacitive matching circuit, where the first radiator is connected to the second radiator, the connected first radiator and second radiator are of a ring shape, and the matching circuit is connected to a feed-in point of the first radiator or the second radiator.

A slotted patch antenna includes a dielectric substrate, a radiation electrode which is provided on a major surface of the dielectric substrate, and a ground conductor which is disposed on a surface that is opposite to the major surface. The radiation electrode is formed with a slots having at least one of a meandering portion, a curve portion, or a folded portion. An external shape of the radiation electrode is a square, and totally two pairs of slots are formed inside the square, each of the slots being along respective sides of the square. Each of the slots is arranged so as to be line-symmetrical with respect to an axis of symmetry that is parallel with one of the sides of the square and passes through a center of the square, and to be point-symmetrical with respect to the center of the square.

The beamformer circuit layer has at least one Faraday wall. The Faraday walls extends between ground planes associated with at least one of the antenna element array layer and the beamformer circuit layer.

A low profile array (LPA) includes an antenna element array layer having at least one Faraday wall, and a beamformer circuit layer coupled to the antenna element array layer. The beamformer circuit layer has at least one Faraday wall. The Faraday walls extends between ground planes associated with at least one of the antenna element array layer and the beamformer circuit layer.

An antenna device comprises a carrier, a first radiation portion, a second radiation portion and a coupling portion. The first radiation portion, the second radiation portion and the coupling portion are provided on the carrier. The second radiation portion electrically connects with the first radiation portion. The first radiation portion and the second radiation portion share a shared part, the shared part is directly connected to a reference grounding. The coupling portion capacitively couples an electrical signal to the first radiation portion and the second radiation portion. The first radiation portion and the second radiation portion convert the electrical signal into a radiation signal emitted by the antenna device.

A dual slot SIW antenna unit includes a first substrate, a conductive layer, plural unit radiation members, a second substrate, a ground conductive layer, and two first conductor pillars. The plural unit radiation members are disposed in parallel on the conductive layer, and each unit radiation member includes at least a pair of slots that are disposed in parallel. The two first conductive pillars are disposed between two neighboring unit radiation members and electrically connect the feed routing layer and the conductive layer. A dual slot SIW antenna array module is also disclosed. By use of the dual slot structure, more radiation members are allowed to be included in a limited square measure for improving the antenna gain.

ULTRA-WIDEBAND ANTENNA FOR REVERSIBLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE

The present disclosure provides an ultra-wideband antenna for a reversible electronic device in a narrow space including: an upper half and a lower half; a hinge connected with the upper half and the lower half; a first RF signal source, loaded on the hinge; an electrical connection structure, placed on one side of the first RF signal source and electrically connected with the upper half and the lower half; a gapped groove, extending inwardly to the electrical connection structure along the outer side of the upper half and the outer side of the lower half; the hinge is spanned on the gapped groove; the hinge excites the gapped groove to form a first ultra-wideband antenna. While realizing the ultra-wideband antennas, it can also integrate with other multiple antennas, and their isolations are better than −10 dB, which basically meets the antenna performance requirements.
