COUPLING ANTENNA APPARATUS AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An antenna apparatus includes a feeding antenna inside an electronic device and one or more antenna elements, such as a floating metal antenna, disposed on a rear cover of the electronic device. The floating metal antenna and a feeding antenna inside the electronic device may form a coupling antenna structure. The feeding antenna may be an antenna fastened on an antenna support (which may be referred to as a support antenna). The feeding antenna may alternatively be a slot antenna formed by slitting on a metal middle frame of the electronic device. The antenna apparatus may be implemented in limited design space, thereby effectively saving antenna design space inside the electronic device. The antenna apparatus may generate excitation of a plurality of resonance modes, so that antenna bandwidth and radiation characteristics can be improved.
A MICROWAVE TRANSFORMER AND A SYSTEM FOR FABRICATING THE SAME
A conductive layer includes a microwave transformer for scaling the intensity of a microwave signal of a first frequency by a scaling factor. The transformer includes a first physical area delimited with a closed curve on the conductive layer for receiving the microwave signal from a first space angle and re-emitting a ray of the microwave signal to a second space angle. A ratio of the first physical area to the second physical area is smaller than 0.5. The ratio of the first effective area to the first physical area is larger than the ratio of the second effective area to the second physical area. The scaling factor is the ratio of the maximal intensity of the re-emitted ray and the intensity of a ray through an open aperture having a physical area equivalent to the second physical area in the same direction than the re-emitted ray.
PACKAGE ANTENNA AND RADAR ASSEMBLY PACKAGE
The present disclosure provides a package antenna and a radar assembly package. The package antenna includes a first antenna and a second antenna adjacent to the first antenna. Directivity of electromagnetic wave from the package antenna is achieved through the cancelation of radiation fields from the first and second antennas.
ANTENNA STRUCTURE WITH WIDE BEAMWIDTH
An antenna structure with a wide beamwidth includes a dielectric substrate, a ground plane, a first radiation element, a plurality of first conductive via elements, and a first feeding connection element. The dielectric substrate has a first surface and a second surface which are opposite to each other. The ground plane is disposed on the second surface of the dielectric substrate. The first radiation element is disposed on the first surface of the dielectric substrate. A first notch is formed on the first radiation element. The first conductive via elements penetrate the dielectric substrate. The first conductive via elements are coupled between the first radiation element and the ground plane. The first feeding connection element is coupled to the first radiation element. The first feeding connection element extends into the first notch of the first radiation element.

ANTENNA DEVICE
An antenna device includes a first conductor corresponding to communication in a first frequency band, a ground conductor that faces the first conductor, and a second conductor that is disposed between the first conductor and the ground conductor, faces the first conductor and the ground conductor, and has a power supply point. The second conductor is disposed so as to face one end side of the first conductor in an upper-lower direction of the first conductor. The first conductor has a slot disposed at a position facing the other end side opposite to the second conductor, the slot corresponding to communication in a second frequency band that is different from the first frequency band.

Slotted patch antennas
The present subject matter describes antennas. In an example of the present subject matter, an antenna comprises a patch antenna element having a radiating surface. Two slots are formed on the radiating surface, each of the two slots having an open circuit edge and a short circuit edge.
Slot array antenna including parasitic features
An illustrative example antenna device includes a substrate. A plurality of conductive members in the substrate establish a substrate integrated waveguide. A plurality of first and second slots are on an exterior surface of a first portion of the substrate. Each of the second slots is associated with a respective one of the first slots. The first and second slots are configured to establish a radiation pattern that varies across a beam of radiation emitted by the antenna device. A plurality of parasitic interruptions include slots on the exterior surface of a second portion of the substrate. The parasitic interruptions reduce ripple effects otherwise introduced by adjacent antennas.
