Antenna structure with wide beamwidth
An antenna structure with a wide beamwidth includes a dielectric substrate, a ground plane, a first radiation element, a plurality of first conductive via elements, and a first feeding connection element. The dielectric substrate has a first surface and a second surface which are opposite to each other. The ground plane is disposed on the second surface of the dielectric substrate. The first radiation element is disposed on the first surface of the dielectric substrate. A first notch is formed on the first radiation element. The first conductive via elements penetrate the dielectric substrate. The first conductive via elements are coupled between the first radiation element and the ground plane. The first feeding connection element is coupled to the first radiation element. The first feeding connection element extends into the first notch of the first radiation element.
Antenna structure with wide beamwidth
An antenna structure with a wide beamwidth includes a dielectric substrate, a ground plane, a first radiation element, a plurality of first conductive via elements, and a first feeding connection element. The dielectric substrate has a first surface and a second surface which are opposite to each other. The ground plane is disposed on the second surface of the dielectric substrate. The first radiation element is disposed on the first surface of the dielectric substrate. A first notch is formed on the first radiation element. The first conductive via elements penetrate the dielectric substrate. The first conductive via elements are coupled between the first radiation element and the ground plane. The first feeding connection element is coupled to the first radiation element. The first feeding connection element extends into the first notch of the first radiation element.
Electronic device comprising antenna
An electronic device includes a housing including a first plate, a second plate opposite to the first plate, and a side member surrounding a space between the first plate and the second plate, and including at least part of a conductive material, a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) attached on an inner surface of the housing, a first antenna element which is included in the FPCB and in which a slot is formed, and a first radio frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) for the first antenna element. An opening is formed in the side member or the second plate of the housing. The FPCB is attached the inner surface of the housing such that at least part in which the slot of the first antenna element is formed is exposed through the opening. At least part of the opening is filled with an insulating material.
Slanted polarization antenna
An antenna system includes: a first sub-system comprising at least one first antenna element shaped and disposed to have a first electrical polarization, in a first direction, in response to excitation of the first sub-system; and a second sub-system comprising at least one second antenna element shaped and disposed to have a second electrical polarization, in a second direction, in response to excitation of the second sub-system; where the at least one first antenna element and the at least one second antenna element are complementary antenna elements; and where the first sub-system and the second sub-system are co-located such that first sub-system and the second sub-system in combination provide a slant-polarization for the antenna system.
Slanted polarization antenna
An antenna system includes: a first sub-system comprising at least one first antenna element shaped and disposed to have a first electrical polarization, in a first direction, in response to excitation of the first sub-system; and a second sub-system comprising at least one second antenna element shaped and disposed to have a second electrical polarization, in a second direction, in response to excitation of the second sub-system; where the at least one first antenna element and the at least one second antenna element are complementary antenna elements; and where the first sub-system and the second sub-system are co-located such that first sub-system and the second sub-system in combination provide a slant-polarization for the antenna system.
Scanned antenna and TFT substrate
The scanning antenna includes a TFT substrate, a slot substrate including a slot electrode, a liquid crystal layer provided between the TFT substrate and the slot substrate, and a reflective conductive plate. Each of the plurality of antenna units includes a TFT, a patch electrode electrically connected to the drain of the TFT, a slot formed in the slot electrode corresponding to the patch electrode, and a first region in which the patch electrode and the slot electrode overlap each other when viewed from the normal direction of the first dielectric substrate. A distance in the normal direction of the first dielectric substrate between the patch electrode and the slot electrode of the plurality of second antenna units is smaller than a distance in the normal direction of the first dielectric substrate between the patch electrode and the slot electrode of the plurality of first antenna units.
Scanned antenna and TFT substrate
The scanning antenna includes a TFT substrate, a slot substrate including a slot electrode, a liquid crystal layer provided between the TFT substrate and the slot substrate, and a reflective conductive plate. Each of the plurality of antenna units includes a TFT, a patch electrode electrically connected to the drain of the TFT, a slot formed in the slot electrode corresponding to the patch electrode, and a first region in which the patch electrode and the slot electrode overlap each other when viewed from the normal direction of the first dielectric substrate. A distance in the normal direction of the first dielectric substrate between the patch electrode and the slot electrode of the plurality of second antenna units is smaller than a distance in the normal direction of the first dielectric substrate between the patch electrode and the slot electrode of the plurality of first antenna units.
MOBILE DEVICE
A mobile device includes a system circuit board, a metal frame, one or more other antenna elements, a display device, a first feeding element, and an RF (Radio Frequency) module. The system circuit board includes a system ground plane. The metal frame at least includes a first portion and a second portion. The metal frame at least has a first cut point positioned between the first portion and the second portion. The metal frame further has a second cut point for separating the other antenna elements from the first portion. The first cut point is arranged to be close to a middle region of the display device. The first feeding element is directly or indirectly electrically connected to the first portion. A first antenna structure is formed by the first feeding element and the first portion.
ANTENNA, BOARD AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE
An antenna includes antenna elements provided one by one on the respective sides of a substantially rectangular conductor plate. Each of the antenna elements includes a feeding wire and a split ring conductor having a shape in which a ring is partially cut by a split part. The feeding wire is electrically connected to the split ring conductor and extends in a direction across a region formed inside the split ring conductor. Two antenna elements provided on two arbitrary sides facing each other of the conductor plate among the four antenna elements are each supplied with power through the feeding wire included in each antenna element so as to have substantially the same direction of an electric field in a polarization direction.
Antenna Apparatus and Terminal
A terminal comprises a printed circuit board (PCB), a PCB floor, and a rear cover. The metal frame is disposed at edges of the PCB floor. The PCB floor is disposed between the PCB and the rear cover, and the PCB floor is used to ground electronic components. The antenna apparatus may include a split antenna formed by a split provided on the metal frame, and a slot antenna formed by a slot connecting to the split. The slot may be connected to the split at a middle position on one side of the slot, and the slot may be provided on the metal frame of the terminal or on a PCB floor of the terminal.
