A dual-frequency and dual-polarization antenna array for simultaneously transmitting and receiving dual-frequency signals comprises: a first substrate, an array of dual-frequency and dual-polarization antennas, each antenna in the array comprising a first polarization antenna and a second polarization antenna. The first and second polarization antennas are laid out orthogonally in the first substrate, a horizontal distance between adjacent antennas being equal to a wavelength of frequency band of each antenna, the horizontal distance between adjacent antennas is smaller than a vertical distance between adjacent antennas. An electronic device comprising the dual-frequency and dual-polarization antenna array is also provided.

An apparatus can include a substrate, a first antenna panel, a second antenna panel and a wall isolator. The first antenna panel can be coupled on the substrate and comprising an array of first antenna elements. The second antenna panel can be coupled on the substrate comprising an array of second antenna elements. The wall isolator can be coupled on the substrate. The wall isolator can include a first EBG element and a second EBG element. The first EBG element can be positioned along an edge of the first antenna panel for a length of the substrate and configured to reduce surface wave propagation from the array of first antenna elements. The second EBG element can be positioned along an edge of the second antenna panel for a length of the substrate and configured to reduce surface wave propagation from the array of second antenna elements.

The antenna device includes: a first dielectric layer; a second dielectric layer disposed on the first dielectric layer; a third dielectric layer disposed between the first dielectric layer and the second dielectric layer; a feed via configured to penetrate the first dielectric layer; a first feed pattern disposed between the first dielectric layer and the third dielectric layer; a second feed pattern disposed between the second dielectric layer and the third dielectric layer and configured to overlap the first feed pattern; and a patch antenna pattern disposed on the second dielectric layer and configured to overlap the first feed pattern and the second feed pattern, wherein a dielectric constant of the third dielectric layer is less than a dielectric constant of the first dielectric layer and a dielectric constant of the second dielectric layer.

Antenna device
An antenna device includes: a pair of first elements that are arranged on a first plane; and a pair of second elements that are arranged on a second plane parallel to the first plane such that a polarized wave direction of the pair of second elements is orthogonal to that of the pair of first elements. Each element of the pair of first elements and the pair of second elements includes a portion that acts as a self-similarity antenna or an antenna that acts based on similar operating principle to the self-similarity antenna. In one embodiment, each element of the pair of first elements and the pair of second elements includes two arms that extend in a direction away from each other from a proximal end portion to which a feed point is connectable.

The first feeding board includes a first feed line configured to supply a first reference-phase signal to a first point on the radiation plate and supply a first antiphase signal having an antiphase relative to the first reference-phase signal to a second point on the radiation plate. The second feeding board includes a second feed line configured to supply a second reference-phase signal to a third point on the radiation plate and supply a second antiphase signal having an antiphase relative to the second reference-phase signal to a fourth point on the radiation plate.
