Terminal-equipped electric wire
A terminal-equipped electric wire includes an electric wire having a core wire and a covering, a crimp terminal including a core wire crimp portion and a covering crimp portion, and a resin that integrally covers a range from a tip of the core wire to side surfaces of the covering crimp portion and that shields the core wire from an external space. The covering crimp portion has each of the bottom wall portion, the first crimping piece, and the second crimping piece coming in close contact with the covering, and the covering crimp portion is crimped to the covering with the first crimping piece laid over a tip portion of the second crimping piece. The resin closes a gap surrounded by the tip surface of the second crimping piece, an inner surface of the first crimping piece, and an outer surface of the covering.
TERMINAL
A female terminal 12 includes a terminal body 15 and a slider 16. The terminal body 15 includes an upper connecting piece 18A and a lower connecting piece 18B connected to a core wire 13 of an electric wire 11. The slider 16 is movable in a front-rear direction relative to the terminal body 15. The slider 16 includes an upper abutting portion 25A and a lower abutting portion 25B. The upper connecting piece 18A includes an upper protrusion 51A that abuts against the upper abutting portion 25A. The lower connecting piece 18B includes a lower protrusion 51B that abuts against the lower abutting portion 25B.

Crimp terminal with ridge portion and manufacturing method thereof
The present invention suppresses the return of the barrel section while ensuring waterproofness against the contact portion with the aluminum core wire. A plurality of concave sections is dispersedly provided on the inner surface of the barrel section. A groove section is provided so as to overlap the sealing member. A ridge portion is provided extending in the crossing direction at a position which does not overlap with the sealing member in plan view and is close to the third region on the side opposite to the terminal section. The barrel section is crimped to the end portion by crimping so that the exposed portion of the aluminum core wire is in contact with the ridge portion, and is sealed with the sealing member.
Wire harness including branching circuit groups
A wire harness includes a first circuit group and a second circuit group. The first circuit group has one end connected to a first connector and another end connected to a second connector. The second circuit group has one end connected to the first connector and another end connected to a third connector. The second circuit group branches from the first circuit group at a position of the second connector or at a position of a connection target connected by the second connector.

Wire with terminal
A wire with terminal (10) has a terminal (12), and a wire (14) extends rearward from the terminal (12). The terminal (12) includes a fixing portion (18) and a neck (20) extending rearward from the fixing portion (18). A base plate (22) extends rearward from a rear end of the neck (20) and has an insulation barrel (34) crimped to insulation coating (32). A laminated portion (26) has wire barrels (36) connected to a core (30). The laminated portion (26) is laminated on the base plate (22). An easily disassemblable portion (24) couples a rear (22A) of the base plate (22) and a rear (26B) of the laminated portion (26). Guides (28) allow displacement of the laminated portion (26) in a pulling direction D1 of the wire (14) while suppressing displacement of the laminated portion (26) in a lamination direction on the base plate (22).
CONNECTOR FOR AUTOMOTIVE APPLICATIONS AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING THEREOF
A method of assembling a connector for automotive applications, comprising the steps of: providing a cable having at least one inner conductor; connecting an elongated inner signal contact of the connector to a stripped end of the at least one inner conductor; surrounding the elongated inner signal contact by an insulating element; placing a first shielding part of the connector around a first portion of the insulating element from a first radial direction; placing a second shielding part of the connector around a second portion of the insulating element from a second radial direction generally opposite to the first radial direction; and joining the first and second shielding parts to form a shielding contact of the connector surrounding the insulating element.
Terminal assembly and method
A method of assembling a terminal assembly includes a terminal and a terminal insert. The terminal insert may be configured to be disposed at least partially in the terminal; the terminal and the terminal insert may be configured to receive at least a portion of a wire; and/or the terminal and the terminal insert may be configured to be crimped to the said wire. The terminal insert may include a first insert wing, a second insert wing a third insert wing, and/or a fourth insert wing. The terminal may include a first wing, a second wing, a third wing, and/or a fourth wing. The first wing of the terminal may be disposed proximate the first wing of the terminal insert and/or the second wing of the terminal may be disposed proximate the second wing of the terminal insert.
PRESS-FIT TERMINAL
A press-fit terminal includes a press-fit portion to be inserted into a through hole of a circuit board. The press-fit portion includes a plurality of protruding portions extending outward from a cross-sectional center of the press-fit portion, and a distance between an outer edge of each of the protruding portions and the cross-sectional center is continuously decreased toward the distal end of the press-fit portion.
