A clamping assembly for attaching a grounding conductor to a pipe having a protective coating includes an elongate conductive strap and a clamp. The conductive strap is sufficiently long to circumferentially surround the pipe and has longitudinally spaced sharp projections that are sufficient to penetrate the protective coating around the pipe to make an electrical coupling between the strap and a conductive part of the pipe beneath the protective coating. The clamp is coupled to the grounding conductor and clamps the conductive strap to the pipe at a tension sufficient to maintain an electrical connection between the conductive part of the pipe and the grounding conductor without the need for any welding of the grounding conductor to the pipe and without the need for any stripping of the protective coating from the pipe.

Two-Way Crimpless Butt Connector

A two-way crimpless butt connector is provided. The butt connector includes a cylindrical housing including a pair of open ends providing two-way entry into the housing, a cylindrical conduit including a pair of open ends each configured to receive an end of a wire therein, and a fastener configured to secure and adjoin the pair of wire ends in the conduit. The fastener includes bendable teeth disposed on the open ends of the conduit. The teeth protrude radially inwardly and form an opening including a diameter smaller than a diameter of the wire ends. When a wire end is inserted into the conduit, the teeth bend with the wire end, thereby engaging the wire end and securing it within the conduit. In this way, the wire ends may be inserted into the housing, adjoined, and locked in the conduit without the use of a crimper, thereby establishing an electrical connection therebetween.

Stator Assembling Method For Motor, Stator Structure For Motor, and Crimp Terminal

A method for assembling a stator structure of a motor comprises providing a stator coil and a stator frame. The stator coil has a wire with an end segment and the stator frame includes a connector and a conductor. The conductor has an open-barrel crimping portion and a temporary holding portion. The method further comprises positioning the end segment of the wire in the crimping portion and a tip end of the end segment in the temporary holding portion. The method further comprises crimping the crimping portion to the end segment of the wire to electrically connect the connector and the end segment of the wire by penetrating an insulating coating of the end segment.

HDMI DIY connector kit and method of assembling HDMI DIY connector

A HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) DIY (Do-It-Yourself) connector kit includes a connector head having a plurality of terminals, a wire terminal having a plurality of alignment slots, and a wire alignment unit which includes a guider holder detachably holding the wire terminal in position and a plurality of wire slots aligned with the alignment slots respectively when the wire terminal is disposed at the guider holder. Therefore, the wire slots are arranged for retaining wires of HDMI cable in position when wire conductors thereof are inserted into the corresponding alignment slot. After the wire conductors are retained at the alignment slots, the wire terminal is detached from the guider holder to ensure only the wire conductors to be retained at the alignment slots respectively.

Insulation piercing measurement connectors

An insulation piercing connector includes a connector body, a bolt, a piercing pin, and an insulator member that electrically insulates the piercing pin from the bolt. The connector body includes a cable receiving slot and a threaded bore in communication with the cable receiving slot. The bolt includes a threaded shank with a central bore, and a head joined to the threaded shank by a shear-off section. The piercing pin is supported within the central bore by the insulator member and includes opposite first and second ends. The first end is configured to pierce the insulation of an electrical cable extending through the cable receiving slot and contact a conductor. The central bore of the bolt threadingly receives a sensor. The sensor includes a probe that contacts the second end of the piercing pin to obtain information from the conductor, such as voltage, current, and/or thermal information.

Insulation piercing electrical tap connectors

Various implementations of insulation piercing connectors are disclosed. The insulation piercing connectors include a simple and efficient design for providing electrical tap connections to a power cable for voltage detection purposes. The insulation piercing connector includes at least a top housing and a bottom housing that come together to receive the power cable. Terminal contacts are housed internally within the insulation piercing connector, and the terminal contacts are positioned to pierce the power cable when the insulation piercing connector is assembled into an operational state.

Patch panel system and jack module attachment thereto

A jack module includes a chassis, a frame, and jacks. The jack module is configured to releasably hold any of a plurality of types of jacks. Each jack is configured to releasably mount to the frame. The frame is configured to couple to the chassis so that rear portions of the jacks extend rearwardly from the chassis. The jack module mounts to a rear of a patch panel frame by coupling the jack module to a faceplate mounted at a front of the patch panel frame.

ELECTRIC MOTOR AND SWITCHING UNIT THEREFOR

An electric motor has a switching unit with a number of contact wires and an annular frame part. The contact wires are arranged to form an interconnect ring for the coil ends of a stator winding and the ends of the wires being connected by insulation displacement contacts. Each of the contacts have two insulation displacement limbs for connecting at least two of the wire ends, the limbs being spaced apart, thus forming an insulation displacement slot therebetween. The frame part of the switching unit has a number of plug-in pockets for receiving the insulation displacement contacts, the number corresponding to the number of insulation displacement contacts.

Multi-use connector for tracer wire

Trace wire connectors that include a cover that can be attached to a base and used to electrically interconnect two or more tracer wires without having to remove insulation from the tracer wires. The cover has multiple portals that permit one or more tracer wires to pass into an inner cavity of the cover. The base has multiple cradles on which tracer wires passing into the cavity can rest. The cover can be oriented relative to the base for use with a through tracer wire and a dead-end tracer wire, or for use with multiple dead-end tracer wires.
