Electrical connector contact terminal

An electrical contact terminal includes a base portion for positioning and retaining the electrical contact terminal within a connector housing, an insulation displacement connecting portion extending upwardly from the base portion and comprising a pair of spaced apart arms defining an opening therebetween for receiving and making electrical contact with an electrical conductor, and a contact portion extending downwardly from the base portion and configured to float when the electrical contact terminal is retained and positioned within a connector housing. The contact portion includes a first arm, a second arm, and an arcuate base portion. The first arm extends downwardly and includes a first end attached to the base portion and an opposite second end. The second arm extends downwardly and includes a free first end closer to the base portion and an opposite second end farther from the base portion. The second arm is configured to deflect when making electrical contact with a mating contact pin. The arcuate base portion connects the second ends of the first and second arms.

Electrical contact arrangement for an electric motor and method for producing the same

Electrical contact arrangement for an electric motor and method for producing same. The present invention relates to an electrical contact arrangement for an electric motor, in particular for an EC drive of a motor vehicle fan, comprising an elongate contact which runs perpendicular to a planar basic conductor, wherein the basic conductor is in the form of a leadframe, and a conductive cohesive and/or form-fitting and/or force-fitting connection is provided between the leadframe and the contact. The present invention also relates to a method for the production of said electrical contact arrangement.

Connector and cable harness

A connector is attachable to a first connection object in an up-down direction and is connectable with a second connection object which is to be inserted rearward into the connector along a front-rear direction perpendicular to the up-down direction. The connector comprises a plurality of terminals and a holding member. The holding member has a holding portion and a sandwiched portion. Each of the terminals has a connecting portion and a contact portion. The sandwiched portion and the connecting portion at least overlap with each other when the connector is viewed along the up-down direction. One of the sandwiched portion and the connecting portion is visible when the connector is viewed along an upward direction of the up-down direction. A remaining one of the sandwiched portion and the connecting portion is visible when the connector is viewed along a downward direction of the up-down direction.

Electrical connector with terminal array

An electrical connector is provided. The connector includes a housing having a wire end and a mating end. A terminal array extends between the wire end and the mating end of the housing. The terminal array has second terminals and first terminals. Each of the second terminals and the first terminals has a wire contact positioned at the wire end of the housing and a mating contact positioned at the mating end of the housing. The wire contact of each second terminal is positioned closer to the wire end of the housing than the wire contact of each first terminal. The mating contacts of the second terminals are positioned adjacent the mating contacts of the first terminals.
