Replaceable machine-mounted male input power connections
A system and method for replaceable machine-mounted male input power connections includes a power connection unit that is at least partially arranged within a housing and configured to transfer power received from a power source to drive a welding process. The power connection unit includes an input configured to receive power from the power source, an output configured to deliver the power received at the input to drive the welding process, and a bus system, configured to connect the input and the output. The power connection unit also includes a male connector having a conductive post extending to a threaded cylindrical shaft. The male conductor forms at least a portion of the input or the output and extends from the housing through a coupling assembly. The coupling assembly includes a correspondingly threaded portion configured to engage the threaded cylindrical shaft of the male connector to the bus system.

Temporary electrical grounding system having a magnetic assembly
A system and apparatus for providing a temporary electrical bonding/grounding connection between a first conductive member and a second conductive member. The apparatus includes an electrically conductive cable having first and second ends. At least one magnet assembly is provided for mounting to the first conductive member. The at least one magnet assembly has multiple arcuate surfaces of different radiuses of curvature, with respective surfaces of the multiple arcuate surfaces being configured to properly mount to a respective arcuate surface of the first conductive member. A conductive coupling is provided on the at least one magnet assembly. The conductive coupling is configured to be electrically coupled to the first end of the cable. The second end of the cable is configured to be detachably and electrically coupled to the second conductive member.

Threaded stud within a conductive bushing connecting a printed circuit board
An electrical connector assembly is provided with a fastener with an elongate body with a threaded portion to receive an electrical terminal, and to receive a threaded fastener to retain the electrical terminal. A conductive body cooperates with the elongate fastener body to engage the electrical terminal and to limit rotation of the fastener relative to the conductive body. A seal is provided between the fastener and the conductive body.
Coaxial cable connectors having a grounding member
A coupler for a coaxial cable connector includes a nut including an internally threaded portion and an extension portion extending forwardly from the threaded portion; and a grounding cage slidingly coupled with the nut. An inner surface of the extension portion includes an annular groove, the grounding cage includes a rear ring portion disposed in the annular groove and configured to slide in the annular groove, and a forward portion of the grounding cage is configured to extend forwardly beyond a forward end of the nut.
Systems and methods for stopping movement of operational members
A method is provided that includes causing an operational member of a system to move. The method includes driving a power or control signal through a conductive coupling member. The conductive coupling member is connected between a first terminal and a second terminal in a power circuit, and the coupling member secures the operational member to a structural member of the system. The method includes detecting an electrical disconnect between the first terminal and a second terminal. The method includes determining a mechanical break associated with the coupling member based on the electrical disconnect between the first terminal and the second terminal. The method includes causing the operational member of the system to stop moving based on determining the mechanical break associated with the coupling member.
