The present disclosure suppresses, in a wire with terminal provided with a sealing member, buckling of a wire during insertion into a terminal mounting hole. A wire with terminal includes a wire having a core wire made of a conductor and an insulation coating covering the outer periphery of the core wire, a terminal connected to a lengthwise end portion of the wire, a tubular sealing member enclosing the outer periphery of the insulation coating, and a reinforcing material adhered to the outer peripheral surface of the insulation coating. The lengthwise end portion of the wire with terminal including the terminal and the sealing member is inserted into a terminal mounting hole of a housing. Also, the reinforcing material is provided in an area extending rearward from a rear end portion of the sealing member in an insertion direction into the terminal mounting hole.

Ceramic applied electronic device and connector

A connector includes two insulators which hold contacts connected to lead wires and are arranged on two surfaces of a base end portion of a ceramic element, two spring components which have flat plate portions located on respective outer surfaces of the two insulators and spring portions supported by the flat plate portions, and a cylindrical sleeve. Each spring portion has an inclined surface which inclines in a movement direction in which the sleeve moves toward the spring components. Each spring portion is elastically deformed by the sleeve hanging over the spring portion. The two insulators hold the base end portion from two sides by being pushed by the flat plate portions in directions in which the two insulators are brought closer to each other. The contacts are pushed against the terminal electrodes.

HIGH VOLTAGE CONNECTION FOR BUSBAR ASSEMBLY

A busbar assembly is disclosed herein. The assembly includes a ring body having a plurality of openings extending in an axial direction and configured to receive electrical wire connections, and a plurality of phase conductors. A high-voltage connection portion is also included in this same body. The high-voltage connection portion includes a plurality of high voltage conductors each configured to engage a respective one of the plurality of phase conductors. A plurality of connectors are each attached to a respective one of the plurality of high voltage conductors. A seal is arranged on a periphery of the high-voltage connection portion to incorporate the busbar into one combined simple design.

Terminal cover

A terminal cover includes a cover body equipped with a curved portion and a base portion. The curved portion has formed therein a pair of claws diametrically opposed to each other. The claws are arranged at an interval away from each other. The interval is selected to be smaller than the width of the terminal and increased by elastic deformation of the cover body arising from installation of a terminal in the terminal cover, so that the claws retain the terminal. This structure enables the terminal cover to be simple and small-sized and facilitates installation of the terminal in the terminal cover without being scraped by the terminal when inserted into the terminal cover.

Phase to phase terminal lead protection

A system includes a pair of terminal leads joined together. An insulative sleeve is wrapped around the pair of terminal leads. Lacing binds around the insulative sleeve. Cured epoxy can encase the insulative sleeve and lacing. The insulative sleeve can include fiberglass. The insulative sleeve can be wrapped more than 360° around the pair of terminal leads so that a first edge of the insulative sleeve is tucked under a second edge of the insulative sleeve.
