Electro-optical connector with hot electrical contact protection
A cable connector, including a housing having a base and a lip, which surrounds the base and defines an aperture configured to receive a mating plug. The cable connector also includes a plurality of electrical contacts enclosed by the housing and configured to convey electrical signals, the electrical contacts having respective first proximal and first distal ends, the first proximal ends being implanted in the base so that the first distal ends are recessed within the aperture at a first distance from the base. The cable connector additionally includes one or more optical fiber terminals containing end portions of respective optical fibers configured to convey optical signals and having respective second proximal and second distal ends, the second proximal ends being implanted in the base so that the second distal ends are recessed within the aperture at a second distance from the base, which is greater than the first distance.
TERMINAL MODULE, AND CONNECTOR
A terminal module disclosed by this specification is provided with a shielded cable including two coated wires, a conductive shield portion for covering outer peripheries of the two coated wires and a sheath portion for covering an outer periphery of the shield portion, inner conductors to be connected to the coated wires, an insulating terminal accommodating member for accommodating end parts of the coated wires together with the inner conductors, and an outer conductor for accommodating the terminal accommodating member. An axis center β of a shield-side pull-out portion for pulling out the coated wires in the shield portion is radially shifted with respect to axis centers a of inner conductor-side pull-out portions for pulling out the coated wires in the inner conductors. A wire insertion path into which linking portions are insertable is formed in a lower wall of the terminal accommodating member.

Cable connector having a metal shell with a metal cage at its rear end enclosed by an outer housing
A cable connector assembly includes a connector and a cable electrically connected thereto. The connector includes a metal shell, a metal cage enclosing a rear end of the metal shell, and an outer housing enclosing the metal cage therein. The connector has a front end for inserting into a mating connector and a rear end. The diametrical dimension of the front end is smaller than the diametrical dimension of the rear end. The outer housing includes a front portion extending forwardly beyond the metal cage to prevent the cable connector mistakenly inserted into an unintended receptacle connector.
Actuation system and lithographic apparatus
Actuation systems and lithographic apparatus which address the issue of uncontrolled return of common mode currents are provided. In an embodiment such systems aim to prevent the occurrence of corona and discharge between high voltage electric cables in low pressure environments. An exemplary actuation system includes an actuator module, a power source and power transmission cables. The actuator module includes an electrical motor and a first plurality of shielded cables configured to connect to the electrical motor at one end. The actuator module is located in a low pressure environment and each shield of the first plurality of cables is grounded. The transmission cables electrically connect the first plurality of cables with power supply, and include an extra cable configured to connect each shield of the first plurality of cables with the first extra cable, via a choke so as to provide a return path for common-mode currents.
Electrical connector having electrically commoned grounds
A ground shield includes a plurality of contact members configured to contact the ground contacts of a column of contacts of an electrical connector, so as to electrically common the grounds to each other.

Shield connector structure
A shield connector structure is provided that can increase the precision in the size of a connection portion of a shield electric wire and can improve the water-stop performance of the connection portion without being affected by the tolerance of the external diameter of a shield unit and an external insulating covering of the shield electric wire. A shield connector includes a connection member fixed to an outer surface of a metal case and a shield member connecting the connection member and a shield unit of a shield electric wire, and a shield pipe configured to fix an exposed portion of the shield unit to the shield member. A first tubular unit of the shield member is inserted between the exposed portion of the shield unit and an internal insulating covering.
Terminal block
A terminal block including an electric wire, a shield material, a terminal, a housing and a shield bracket. The shield material is configured to cover at least a part of the electric wire. The electric wire is connected to the terminal. The housing is configured to accommodate the terminal. The shield bracket is fixed to the housing. The shield bracket is configured to hold the shield material, and includes a folding portion. The folding portion is configured to hold an end of the shield material by sandwiching the end of the shield material. The folding portion has a notch hole.
Plug connector assembly with shielding shell
A plug connector assembly includes a bottom metallic shell having a lower wall, a front wall, a rear wall, a left wall, and a right wall, and defining a receiving slot. The front wall has an inserting groove extending therethrough along a front-to-back direction and a mounting slit extending downwardly from a top edge of the front wall and communicating to the inserting groove. A top metallic shell assembled to the bottom metallic shell along a top-to-bottom direction has a plurality of side walls, an opening defined by the side walls, and a front wall extending downwardly from of the side walls and abutting against the front wall of the bottom metallic shell to seal the mounting slit. A printed circuit board (PCB) is located in the receiving slot and enclosed by the bottom and top shells. A connector connects with a top section of the PCB.
