Electrical Connector, Electronic Component, and Assembly Method

An electrical connector comprises an interface element attachable to a circuit board and a plurality of peripheral connectors. The interface element has an inner contact electrically contacting the circuit board and a connecting interface. The peripheral connectors are each individually matable with the connecting interface. The peripheral connectors include a peripheral plug connector having a plurality of plug connector pins and a peripheral lead connector having a plurality of wires.

An interface device for connecting a portable electronic device to a vehicle includes a holding module for receiving a portable electronic device with a display, and an adaptor module for connecting the portable electronic device to a vehicle. The holding module has a slot into which the portable electronic device is inserted and a front opening exposing the display of the portable electronic device, and an edge portion of the display is covered by a front part of the holding module.

An interposer for connecting a module to an M.2 socket includes a different form factor connector. The interposer includes an M.2 connector to couple the interposer to the M.2 socket. The M.2 connector is formed to mate with the M.2 socket. The interposer includes a different form factor socket to couple the interposer to the module including the different form factor connector. The different form factor socket is formed to mate with the different form factor connector.

A heat sink assembly includes a casing having an opening, a main board accommodated in the casing, a heat sink mounted on the main board, an electrical connector mounted on the main board and exposed in the opening, a mating connector located outside the casing and connected to the electrical connector through the opening in a plugging manner, and a heat conductor, disposed inside the casing. The mating connector has a chip that is electrically connected to the electrical connector. One end of the heat conductor is connected to the heat sink, and the other end of the heat conductor is thermally connected to the electrical connector or the mating connector, so that heat generated by the chip during working can be transferred to the heat sink through the heat conductor, thereby reducing a temperature of the mating connector.

System and method for stacking compression dual in-line memory module scalability

An information handling system includes a first z-axis compression connector, a first dual in-line memory module (DIMM), a second z-axis compression connector, a second DIMM, and a printed circuit board. A first side of the first compression connector is affixed to the printed circuit board. A first surface of a first memory circuit board of the first DIMM is affixed to a second side of the compression connector. A first side of the second compression connector is affixed to a second side of the first memory circuit board. A first side of a second memory circuit board of the second DIMM is affixed to a second side of the second compression connector. The first compression connector has a first depth, and the second compression connector has a second depth that is different from the first depth.

Systems, apparatus, and/or processes directed to applying pressure to a socket to alter a shape of the socket to improve a connection between the socket and a substrate, printed circuit board, or other component. The socket may receive one or more chips, may be an interconnect, or may be some other structure that is part of a package. The shape of the socket may be flattened so that a side of the socket may form a high-quality physical and electrical coupling with the substrate.

The plurality of conductive resin members are fitted at positions of the plurality of insulating members in contact with the contacts for ground.
