Secure hardware threat protection
A printed circuit (PC) card apparatus can, in an absence of external power provided to a Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) PC card, prevent and detect unauthorized access to secure data stored on a memory device mounted on the PCIe PC card. The PCIe card includes a primary battery to supply, when external power is disconnected from the PCIe card, power to an electronic security device mounted on the PCIe card. The PC card apparatus also includes a PCIe edge connector protector enclosing electrically conductive fingers of a PCIe edge card connector. The PCIe edge connector protector includes a hidden supplemental charge storage device integrated into the PCIe edge connector protector. The PCIe edge connector protector also includes electrically conductive contacts to transfer supplemental power from the supplemental charge storage device to the electronic security device.
Electrical connector assembly with improved shielding effect and locking structure
An electrical connector assembly includes an electrical connector and a metal casing. The electrical connector includes an insulating body and a number of conductive terminals. The insulating body includes a slot. Each conductive terminal includes an abutting portion. The metal casing includes a receiving cavity. When a mating connector is inserted into the receiving cavity and has not yet made contact with the conductive terminals of the electrical connector, a better shielding effect can be achieved. Some of the abutting portions are adapted for electrically connecting with a circuit board, and some of the abutting portions of the conductive terminals are connected with a cable. The metal casing includes a hook portion locking with a lock surface of the circuit board. Therefore, the metal casing can be prevented from detaching from the circuit board in case an external force is applied to pull the cable.
Connector
A housing of a connector has end faces at both ends thereof in a pitch direction. The end faces correspond to protruding blocks of a mating connector 50, respectively. Two guide members are distinct and separated from each other. Each of the guide members has a side portion and two supporting portions. The guide members correspond to the end faces, respectively. Accordingly, the side portion and the supporting portions correspond to one of the end faces. The side portion is located apart from the end face corresponding thereto in the pitch direction. The side portion, the supporting portions and the end face corresponding to the side portion form a receiving portion. The receiving portion guides and receives the protruding block corresponding to the end face forming the receiving portion when the connector and the mating connector are mated with each other.
Testing apparatus and method of using the same
A testing apparatus for a semiconductor package includes a circuit board, testing patterns and a socket. The circuit board has a testing region and includes a plurality of testing contacts and a plurality of signal contacts distributed in the testing region. The testing patterns are embedded in the circuit board and electrically connected to the testing contacts, where each of the testing patterns includes a first conductive line and a second conductive line including a main portion and a branch portion connected to main portion. The first conductive line is connected to the main portion. The socket is located on the circuit board and comprising connectors electrically connected to the circuit board, wherein the connectors are configured to transmit electric signals for testing the semiconductor package from the testing apparatus.
SHIELDED CONNECTOR ASSEMBLIES WITH TEMPERATURE AND ALIGNMENT CONTROLS
High-speed connectors and connector assemblies that include structures for alignment and/or improved thermal performance.
Low profile edge connector and system using same
An edge connector is configured to connect to a circuit board. The edge connector includes a base wall, a first terminal mount extending upwardly from the base wall, the first terminal mount having a plurality of passageways, terminals mounted in the passageways, a second terminal mount extending upwardly from the base wall, the second terminal being spaced from the first terminal mount, the second terminal mount having a plurality of passageways extending therethrough, terminals mounted in the passageways of the second terminal mount, and a moveable latch extending from the upper surface of the base wall, the latch positioned between the first and second terminal mounts. Each terminal mount extends along part of the length of the base wall such that a platform is formed by the upper surface of the base wall rearwardly of the terminal mounts. A latch protection wall extends from each terminal mount to the rear end of the base wall, and the latch protection walls are proximate to the latch.
WIRE-CLAMPING CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A wire-clamping connector assembly includes a wire-clamping connector and a mating connector that are mated with each other. The wire-clamping connector includes a casing and a conductive cable. The casing includes a first wire-fixing portion, a second wire-fixing portion, and a third wire-fixing portion that is located therebetween. A first gap is formed between the first wire-fixing portion and the third wire-fixing portion, and a second gap is formed between the second wire-fixing portion and the third wire-fixing portion. The conductive cable includes a conductive cable body and insulating bodies that cover the conductive cable body. The conductive cable passes through the first gap and the second gap, such that a third extension section is surroundingly arranged below the third wire-fixing portion. An extension direction of the conductive cable is perpendicular to a mating direction of the mating connector and the wire-clamping connector.
Pin, pin combination structure, package body, and method for manufacturing package body
Methods and apparatuses to provide a pin, a pin combination structure and a package body are described. A baffle structure is sleeved on the pin. The baffle structure is used to prevent a plastic packaging material from overflowing from a cavity that accommodates the plastic packaging material. The cavity is in a mold for packaging the package body.
MFi-CERTIFIED DIGITAL DATA CABLE
The present utility model discloses a MFi-certified digital data cable comprising a wire rod which is equipped with an input connector at one end and an output connector at the other end; the output connector comprises a MFi-certified connector, a circuit board, a Nixie tube and a rubber base; a connecting piece is fixed at the position adjoining the tail-end of the MFi-certified connector; a plurality of conductive terminals are fixed inside the connecting piece, two ends of each conductive terminal pass through two ends of the connecting piece and then are connected with the MFi-certified connector and the circuit board respectively so the circuit board is assembled and fixed via the connecting piece.
