A first subset of the pitch transformation routing members each includes a first routing section extending in a first direction and a second routing section extending in a second direction. A pitch of the first set of contact members associated with the first subset of the pitch transformation routing members is different from a pitch of the second set of contact members associated with the first subset of the pitch transformation routing members.

ELECTRIC CONNECTOR AND ASSEMBLY THEREOF WITH IMPROVED MOUNTING FEATURES

An electrical connector includes an insulating body, a number of first conductive terminals and a number of second conductive terminals. Each first conductive terminal includes a first mating arm. Each second conductive terminal includes a second mating arm and a second press-fit portion for being mounted to a circuit board. Among the second conductive terminals, the second press-fit portions corresponding to any two adjacent second mating arms are arranged in a staggered manner with each other along a second arrangement direction of the second mating arms. Therefore, it effectively avoids the mutual influence between the second press-fit portions, and facilitates the realization of the installation with the circuit board. The present disclosure also discloses an electrical connector assembly having the electrical connector.

Printed circuit board plug-in connection

A printed circuit board plug-in connection is provided for transmitting the highest possible currents between a printed circuit board and an electrical cable, the printed circuit board plug-in connection being manufactured as simply and economically as possible. For this purpose, a plug-in connection having a slotted pin contact is proposed. Said pin contact is arranged in an insulating body and can be inserted directly into a passage contact opening of a printed circuit board in order to establish electrical contact. The insulating body has detent arms, which releasably engage in detent openings of the printed circuit board in a locking manner at the same time. By means of dovetail connections, several insulating bodies can be fastened to each other, i.e., can be cascaded with each other. A strain relief element can also be fastened to an insulating body by means of the dovetail connection in order to provide strain relief for individual conductors of the cable.
