HIGH FREQUENCY CONNECTOR WITH KICK-OUT
Embodiments disclosed herein relate to a high frequency connector system with reduced stub lengths that provide improved performance at high frequencies. A first connector includes a plurality of mating contacts designed to electrically connect to a second plurality of mating contacts associated with a second connector. The first connector includes one or more elastic members such that when the second connector is mated to the first connector, the one or more elastic members are compressed between the first and second connectors. The first and second plurality of contacts overlap by a first distance when initially mated, but when the connectors are released, the first elastic member biases the second connector away from the first connector such that the first and second plurality of contacts overlap by a second distance smaller than the first distance.

Wafer and backplane connector having the wafer
A wafer includes a number of conductive terminals and an insulating frame. The conductive terminals include differential signal terminals, a first ground terminal and a second ground terminal. Each conductive terminal includes a connection portion and a contact portion. The connection portions of the differential signal terminals, the first ground terminal and the second ground terminal are located in a first plane. The first ground terminal includes a first torsion portion and the second ground terminal includes a second torsion portion. The contact portion of the first ground terminal and the contact portion of the second ground terminal are both perpendicular to the first plane. This present disclosure can provide better shielding effect, reduce crosstalk and improve the quality of signal transmission. In addition, the present disclosure also relates to a backplane connector having the wafer.

INTER-COMPONENT CONNECTION STRUCTURE
An inter-component connection structure includes a male fitting member; and a female fitting member that has a first nipping portion and a second nipping portion disposed to face each other, and nips an insertion portion of the male fitting member inserted between the first nipping portion and the second nipping portion. A pair of the male fitting member and the female fitting member is disposed in different components. The first nipping portion and the second nipping portion are respectively bent to form protruding portions toward surfaces thereof facing each other. A gap is provided at a tip portion of each of the first nipping portion and the second nipping portion. In at least one of the pair of the male fitting member and the female fitting member, an insulating portion is provided in a region that is not in contact with the other when fitted.
