Extendable electrical outlet enclosure
An extendable electrical outlet enclosure with a tubular main body, a bezel, a cap, at least one extension tube, and a back plate. The tubular main body has a first end, a second end, and a wall extending between the first end and second end. The tubular main body also has an electrical device support that extends inward from the wall and defines a separation between an electrical plug section and a wiring section. The bezel surrounds an opening in the main body at the first end and allows the cap to removably mount to the electrical enclosure. The at least one extension tube attaches to the tubular main body at the second end and has a leading end, a trailing end, and an outer wall extending between the leading end and the trailing end. The back plate couples with the at least one extension tube at the trailing end.
PROTECTIVE ASSEMBLY FOR CONNECTORS, SYSTEM AND VEHICLE PROVIDED WITH SUCH AN ASSEMBLY
A protective assembly provided with a hollow first cap with a first cavity configured to house a first connector and a second cap. The second cap has a hollow portion delimiting a second cavity configured to house a second connector to be connected to the first connector. The first cavity is shaped to match an outer casing of the hollow portion. The second cap penetrates into the first cavity in a sealed manner, in a connected mode, isolating the first cavity and the second cavity from an external environment.

CONNECTOR
Disclosed is a connector including an outer housing having a tube shape, an inner housing coupled to the inside of the outer housing, the inner housing including a rear wall and a terminal cover formed to extend from the rear wall in a longitudinal direction of the outer housing, and a terminal of a plate shape seated on and coupled to the terminal cover, wherein the terminal cover is provided to cover edges of the terminal of the plate shape and to expose a side surface of the terminal. By this structure, a finger is structurally prevented from coming into contact with the terminal of the connector, and because there are no additional components, a simplification of the structure and a reduction in cost are achieved.

Electrical Outlet with Safety Feature
Embodiments of an electrical outlet of the present invention generally include one or more sockets which include, in addition to positive, negative, and optionally, grounding electrical connections, at least one coupling/communication component, wherein AC electrical current flows through the outlet only when a plug comprising a complementary coupling/communication component is engaged with the socket, whereby the proximity of the coupling/communication component and the complementary coupling/communication component actuates the outlet to provide electrical current therethrough. In one embodiment, in lieu of a complementary coupling/communication component, a wireless transmission device is used to send a signal to the coupling/communication component to actuate the outlet. In other embodiments, an electrical outlet of the present invention includes a mechanism for maintaining engagement between the outlet and a receptacle/plug that provides for safe disengagement when they are inadvertently separated. Embodiments of a method of using embodiments of apparatuses of the present invention are also provided.
