Self-contained boxless electrical receptacle system with pre-configured embedded conductors
A novel system for installing, wiring and controlling electrical outlets is disclosed. The system includes a mounting bracket, a self-contained receptacle, and an option control module. The mounting bracket has preconfigured embedded conductors to facilitate the mounting of electrical outlets thereto. The self-contained receptacle includes a self-contained electrical outlet having face-mounted counter bored connecting screws for electrically connecting the self-contained receptacle to the embedded conductors of the mounting bracket. The optional control module may wirelessly receive instructions for controlling an electrical output of the self-contained receptacle.
ELECTRICAL PLUG CONNECTOR FOR A BUSBAR
The present invention relates to an electrical plug connector for an electrical connection system. The electrical plug connector comprises a plug connector housing comprising a housing body and a busbar portion. The busbar portion is at least partially accommodated in the plug connector housing. The busbar portion includes a busbar conductor, and a busbar end which is integrally formed with the busbar conductor. The busbar end includes a connection portion that is configured for being plugged to a mating connector to establish an electrical connection. The busbar end further includes a retention means which is configured to engage with a corresponding retention means to receive pull forces being imposed on the busbar portion in a direction opposite to a mating direction. The plug connector housing has a corresponding retention means that engages with the retention means when the busbar portion is at least partially accommodated in the plug connector housing.
PROTECTIVE COVER ELEMENT AND ELECTRICAL PLUG-AND-SOCKET CONNECTOR
A protective cover element for mounting on a contact blade of a blade contact of an electrical plug-and-socket connector projecting out of an insulating material, as well as to an electrical plug-and-socket connector with at least one such protective cover element.
CABLE CAP WITH POWER INDICATOR
A cable cap for a heating cable, and a heating cable assembly including a heating cable and a cable cap, in which the cable cap includes a power indicator that illuminates when sufficient power is supplied to the distal end of the heating cable. The indicator gives an installer or a user an indication that the heating cable is functioning properly the entire length of the heating cable. The cable cap may further include a connection feature, such as an aperture, that provides a connection point for a cable pulling device such as a fish tape.

PROTECTIVE COVER
A protective cover for an electrical conductor comprises a substantially tubular cap surrounding the electrical conductor. The protective cover further includes a substantially disc-shaped flange comprising a bore surrounding the electrical conductor in a liquid-tight manner and an outer contour strictly inscribed in an inner contour of the tubular cap facing disc-shaped flange. The tubular cap also comprises at least one perforation arranged at a low point of the tubular cap. In one example, the protective cover is used for a heating element for an exhaust line.

Jack caps
An insert attachment for covering a jack of cable cord, the insert attachment including a housing with a rear and front portion wherein the front portion diameter is greater than the rear portion diameter. The insert attachment may include a protective sleeve. The insert attachment may further include inner and outer coating layers on the surface of the housing with various density or hardness.
Safety-equipped connection systems and methods thereof for establishing electrical connections
Connection systems and methods thereof facilitate establishing electrical connections through a barrier such as a drape without compromising a sterile field established by the barrier. A connection system can include two connectors. A first connector can include a first-connector housing defining a cavity, a slideable end piece coupled to a distal-end portion of the first-connector housing, and at least a first piercing element connected to a first electrical lead. The first piercing element can be configured to enter the cavity and pierce a barrier disposed in the cavity when the slideable end piece is advanced toward a proximal-end portion of the first-connector housing. A second connector can include at least a first receptacle within a second-connector housing connected to a second electrical lead. The first receptacle can be configured to form at least a first electrical connection with the first piercing element after the first piercing element pierces the barrier.
