A connector body includes mating guide parts having mating recesses into which counterpart mating guide parts are inserted, the reinforcing bracket includes a body part attached to end wall parts of the mating guide parts, and a pair of left and right connection arms connected to both ends of the body part, the connection arms extending to the longitudinal center of the connector body and being attached to side wall parts of the mating guide parts, the connection arm includes a side plate part and a side wall upper cover part connected to an upper end of the side plate part, at least a part of the outside of the side plate part is covered with an outside part of the side wall part, and the side wall upper cover part is curved such that a tip faces the mating recess and covers at least a part of the upper surface of the inside part of the side wall part.

A steering device includes: a steering gear housing, which provides a sensor accommodation region; a steering sensor unit, which is situated in the sensor accommodation region when installed; a housing cover, which is provided to cover the sensor accommodation region in the axial direction when installed; and a connector unit, which can be situated in a contact recess in the steering gear housing or in the housing cover, for making, in particular direct, electrical contact with the steering sensor unit during the process of installing the connector unit. The connector unit includes a plug unit with at least one plug element for connection to the steering sensor unit, and a support unit. The connector unit also includes an elastic compensation unit, which is connected fixedly to the plug element and to the support unit and is provided to resiliently support the plug element.

A plug connector housing is provided having a cable through-opening with a substantially circular cross-section. The plug connector housing has a cable outlet piece, which substantially has the shape of an angled cylinder. The cable outlet piece is configured to be fastened to the cable through-opening of the plug connector housing and is mounted for rotation in a peripheral direction relative to the cable through-opening.

Systems and methods for a coupler including: a cable comprising a bend relief disposed at an end of the cable and one or more wires; a socket comprising one or more pins and one or more socket terminals, where the one or more pins are electrically connected to the one or more socket terminals; and a housing body disposed between the cable and the socket, where the housing body comprises a portion of the bend relief and the one or more wires connected to the one or more socket terminals, and where at least a portion of the housing body is made of hot melt such that the housing body encapsulates the portion of the bend relief, the one or more socket terminals, and the one or more wires connected to the one or more socket terminals.

An electrical plug connector terminates a twisted pair electrical cable. The electrical plug connector includes a base and a plug housing holding electrical contacts therebetween. The base includes a divider structure including separation walls. At least one of the separation walls defines an abutment surface against which a forward end of the electrical cable abuts when terminated by the electrical plug connector. The plug housing defines slots so that the electrical contacts are accessible. The electrical plug connector axially secures an outer jacket of the electrical cable against rearward movement relative to base. The at least one separation wall inhibits forward axial movement of the outer jacket of the electrical cable relative to the base.

A wire harness that includes a cylindrical connector shell; a cylindrical flexible conductor; a fixing member for fixing the flexible conductor to an end of the connector shell; and a cover that covers the connector shell and the flexible conductor, wherein: the cover is fixed through fastening to the connector shell by a fixing band that is arranged on an outer circumferential surface of a leading end of the cover, and the cover includes: a connector fastener that is fastened to the connector shell by the fixing band; a covering that covers the fixing member; and a rib that protrudes inward between the connector fastener and the covering.

A wire harness that includes a cylindrical connector shell; a cylindrical flexible conductor; a fixing member for fixing the flexible conductor to an end of the connector shell; and a cover that covers the connector shell and the flexible conductor, wherein: the cover is fixed through fastening to the connector shell by a fixing band that is arranged on an outer circumferential surface of a leading end of the cover, and the cover includes: a connector fastener that is fastened to the connector shell by the fixing band; a covering that covers the fixing member; and a rib that protrudes inward between the connector fastener and the covering.

A plug connector for connecting an attachment cable to a mating plug connector of an electrical appliance in the form of a vacuum cleaner, wherein the plug connector has a contact carrier having plug contacts which are connected or connectable to the attachment cable and which can be brought into an electrical contact position with mating plug contacts of the mating plug connector by a plugging movement along a plug axis, wherein the contact carrier is received, in an axially movable manner with respect to the plug axis, in a plug housing which is mounted rotatably about the plug axis with respect to the contact carrier, wherein rotary form-fit contours are arranged on the plug housing and can be brought into form-fit engagement with mating rotary form-fit contours of the mating plug connector by a rotation movement of the plug housing about the plug axis with respect to the contact carrier, such that the plug connector is secured on the mating plug connector in a tension-resistant manner with respect to the plug axis, and wherein the plug connector has a cable sleeve for the attachment cable.

A connection device for interconnecting electrical components that uses a plurality of contact layers. Each of the contact layers includes a substrate of dielectric material with a top edge, a bottom edge and side surfaces. A plurality of conductive elements extends in parallel through the dielectric material. The various contact layers are stacked. The side surfaces of the contact layers interconnect through a matrix of connective pillars. The connective pillars provide a network of open spaces between each of the contact layers. When the overall connection device is compressed, the dielectric material compresses and widens. The open areas receive the deformation and prevent the deformations from propagating lateral forces that can act to displace the conducive elements.

A waterproof structure of a connector 1 is configured to waterproof a cable 40 including a sheath 41 surrounding a plurality of wires 42, and a connector housing 10 connected to the plurality of wires 42 extending from a tip portion 41E of the sheath 41. The waterproof structure includes a seal member 50 collectively covering the plurality of wires 42 between the cable 40 and the connector housing 10. The seal member 50 has one end fitted onto the sheath 41 and in which the plurality of wires 42 extend from the tip portion 41E with any arrangement relation, and another end fitted into the connector housing 10.
