ELECTRIC CONNECTOR WITH WIRE HOLDER
An electric connector is provided to ensure reliable termination of cable wires having different sizes. The electric connector can include a housing, a plurality of contacts, and a wire holder. The wire holder includes a wire support extension configured to be at least partially inserted into the housing. The wire support extension defines a plurality of wire receiving passages configured to arrange a plurality of first wires thereon and align the first wires with contact insert slots of the housing, respectively, when the wire support extension is inserted to the housing. The wire holder further includes a plurality of wire support ribs configured to centralize second wires smaller than the first wires.
Field terminable single pair ethernet connector
A communication connector has an outer housing with an opening, a shielding wrap at least partially enclosing the outer housing, and a contact carrier assembly configured to be interested into the opening of the outer housing. The contact carrier assembly at least partially encloses at least two contacts each with an insulation displacement contact (IDC). The contact carrier assembly also has an integrated wire cap that utilizes a hinge feature to press cable conductors of a cable into their respective IDCs.
Device for connecting an electric wiring harness to the rear of an electrical connector
A device for connecting an electric wiring harness to the rear of an electrical connector, includes two half-shells configured to be assembled and to receive within them at least one cable of the electric wiring harness, a rear clamping nut designed to compress the two half-shells radially around the cable, a longitudinal body designed to hold the two half-shells axially, a front clamping nut designed to hold the longitudinal body around the electrical connector, wherein each one of the two half-shells includes an inner pad made of an elastomeric material, configured to be in contact with the cable, and an outer jacket made of a rigid material, at least partially enveloping the inner pad and configured to be in contact with the rear clamping nut.
TRANSMISSION LINE CYLINDRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A tool string electrical transmission line connector comprising a cylinder adapted for mounting within a bore adjacent to a shoulder within the bore of a downhole tool. The cylinder comprising an inside axial side wall spaced apart from an outside axial side wall joining top and bottom surfaces. The connector further comprises an axial channel open to the outside axial side wall intersecting the bottom surface and a housing open to the outside axial side wall. The housing being open to the top surface. An electrical transmission line connector is disposed within the housing. An electrical transmission line is disposed within the axial channel and connected within the housing to an adjacent electrical transmission device. The axial channel further comprises one or more tab closures. The tab closures may comprise a clamp. When fitted into the bore, the tabs close around a cable residing within the channel.
WIRE COVER AND CONNECTOR STRUCTURE
A wire cover is to be mounted on a rear side in a connecting direction of a connector to be connected to a mating connector. The connector includes a plurality of female terminals disposed apart from each other in a lateral direction and a plurality of wires connected to the respective female terminals and pulled out from the rear side in the connecting direction. The wire cover includes a housing having an insertion opening through which the plurality of wires are inserted and a draw-out opening through which the plurality of wires inserted through the insertion opening are drawn out rightward, and an assisting member for assisting three-dimensional bending of the respective wires inside the housing. The respective wires are three-dimensionally bent inside the housing and drawn out through the draw-out opening by being assisted by the assisting member.
