A magnetic tether switch for equipment or vehicles is described. The magnetic tether switch may include a base having a first magnetic assembly. The first magnetic assembly may include a magnet and a first magnetic flux return component, or multiple magnets with reversed polarization directions. The magnetic tether switch may include a cap including a second magnetic assembly. The second magnetic assembly may include a magnet and a magnetic flux return component, or multiple magnets with reversed polarization directions. Alternatively, the second magnetic assembly may be composed of a ferrous material. The base may include a circuit with multiple contacts, where attaching the cap to the base may connect or disconnect the contacts to each other by moving the magnet within the base by magnetic attraction from the cap.

A charging dock, an electronic product, a charging system and a charging method are provided. The charging dock includes a housing, a first charging terminal, a first magnetic device, a first detection device and a first control circuit. The first charging terminal, the first magnetic device, the first detection device and the first control circuit are in the housing. The first magnetic device is to attract the charging plug near the first magnetic device to enable the charging plug to move in a direction towards the first charging terminal. The first control circuit is to control the first charging terminal to be energized when the first detection device detects that the first charging terminal is electrically coupled to the charging plug.

Power supply apparatus

A power supply apparatus includes a battery pack for an electric vehicle, and an interface unit that couples the battery pack and a plurality of electrical devices. The interface unit includes a branch connector provided with a coupling unit and a plurality of fuses. The coupling unit allows coupling wires to join. Each of the coupling wires is coupled to a corresponding one of electrical devices. Each of the plurality of fuses is disposed in a corresponding one of coupling wires. The interface unit also includes a battery pack connector that is able to be coupled to the branch connector. In a state in which the branch connector is coupled to the battery pack connector, the power supply apparatus is configured to be able to supply electric power from the battery pack to each of the plurality of electrical devices via the coupling unit.

Power supply apparatus

A power supply apparatus includes a battery pack for an electric vehicle, and an interface unit that couples the battery pack and a plurality of electrical devices. The interface unit includes a branch connector provided with a coupling unit and a plurality of fuses. The coupling unit allows coupling wires to join. Each of the coupling wires is coupled to a corresponding one of electrical devices. Each of the plurality of fuses is disposed in a corresponding one of coupling wires. The interface unit also includes a battery pack connector that is able to be coupled to the branch connector. In a state in which the branch connector is coupled to the battery pack connector, the power supply apparatus is configured to be able to supply electric power from the battery pack to each of the plurality of electrical devices via the coupling unit.

The connector assembly (14) includes an array of second electrical contacts (26), and a second housing (28) canying the second contacts (26) and configured to allow access to the second contacts (26). Each of the carrier assembly (12) and the connector assembly (14) include complementary retention elements (30) and complementary locating formations (32), whereby engaging the complementary locating formations (32) allows the complementary retention elements (30) to secure the first housing (22) to the second housing (28), and allows the first contacts (20) to couple with the second contacts (26).
