Switched power over Ethernet connector
An arc prevention system including a jack having a receptacle, with the receptacle having an upper wall, a bottom wall, two opposing side walls and a back wall between the two opposing side walls, a sensor unit positioned on the back wall of the receptacle, where the sensor unit is positioned on the back wall of the receptacle such that the sensor unit engages a plug inserted into the receptacle.
Water-in-fuel sensor and method of assembly thereof
A method of assembling a water-in-fuel sensor assembly. The method includes an initial step of providing a housing that has a recess, at least one pin located within the housing, a circuit board, and at least one terminal configured for engaging the at least one pin. The method also includes forming a board-mounting subassembly by coupling the at least one terminal to the circuit board. The method also includes positioning the board-mounting subassembly within the housing by engaging the at least one terminal with the at least one pin such that the board-mounting subassembly is disposed within the recess of the housing.
Method and apparatus for tracking a life cycle of turbocharger
A plug configured to be at least partially inserted into a central housing of a turbocharger. The plug includes a body having a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a threaded portion extending from the second end to a location on the body between the first end and the second end. The plug further includes a heat sink coupled to the second end, and a microchip mounted to a substrate that is coupled to the heat sink, the microchip configured to store information related to the turbocharger, wherein the microchip is at least partially submerged in coolant in the central housing when the plug is inserted into the central housing of the turbocharger.
MANAGED ELECTRICAL CONNECTIVITY SYSTEMS
A connector arrangement includes a plug nose body; a printed circuit board positioned within a cavity of the plug nose body; and a plug cover that mounts to the plug nose body to enclose the printed circuit board within the cavity. The printed circuit board includes a storage device configured to store information pertaining to the electrical segment of communications media. The plug cover defines a plurality of slotted openings through which the second contacts are exposed. A connector assembly includes a jack module and a media reading interface configured to receive the plug. A patch panel includes multiple jack modules and multiple media reading interfaces.
CONNECTION ASSEMBLY
A connection assembly for the electrical and mechanical connection between a contact electrode and an electrical conductor element has a flexible sensor/electrode section in which the contact electrode is at least partially arranged. The connection assembly has at least one electrical inner conductor of the electrical conductor element for applying and/or removing an electrical voltage and/or capacitive change at the contact electrode. An electrical contact region is provided in which the at least one electrical inner conductor makes electrical contact with the contact electrode of the sensor. A connecting device is provided which can be prestressed against the contact electrode of the sensor in the contact region, with interposition of the inner conductor.
POWER CONNECTOR FOR COMPACT ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS
Flexible and low cost power interconnects. The interconnect includes a plug with an insulative support and a plurality of electrical contacts mounted to exterior surfaces of the insulative support. The plug may be simply formed with molding and stamping operations. In use, the plug may be connected in an electrical assembly to support one or multiple power circuits in a compact space. A receptacle for receiving the plug may have an opening with sides bounded by rows of independent electrical contacts that may similarly be connected to one or more power circuits within a printed circuit board to which the receptacle is mounted. The plug and receptacle may be configured such that, when the receptacle connector and plug are each mounted to substrates and the connectors are mated, the substrates are spaced 6 mm, 5 mm, or less.
CHARGING GUN
A charging gun is applicable to a charger station. The charging gun includes a charging gun body and a charge state display apparatus. The charge state display apparatus includes a charge state sensor, a display light module, and a controller. The charge state sensor is configured to sense a charge state of the charger station. The display light module is arranged on the charging gun body. The display light module includes a first light-emitting element, a second light-emitting element, and a third light-emitting element. The controller is electrically connected to the charge state sensor and the display light module. The controller is configured to control the first light-emitting element, the second light-emitting element, or the third light-emitting element to emit light according to the charge state.
ACTIVE COVER PLATES
A variety of active cover plate configurations with prongs configured to contact side screw terminals of electrical receptacles are described.
Reusable battery indicator with electrical lock and key
A reusable battery indicator includes a voltage sensor, a communication circuit communicatively connected to the voltage sensor, an antenna operatively coupled to the communication circuit, and a connector. The connector is electrically connected to the voltage sensor, and the connector is adapted to be removably connected to a battery, thereby providing an electrical connection between the voltage sensor and the battery. An electrical circuit is completed between the voltage sensor and the battery and the voltage sensor. The connection mechanism includes part of an electrical lock and key assembly.
Connector Module
A connector module, which includes a male connector having a first housing and first terminals accommodated in the first housing; a female connector having a second housing configured such that the first housing is fitted therein and second terminals accommodated in the second housing and a connector connection detecting unit having a pressure sensor configured to contact at least one side of the first housing when the first housing is entirely fitted into the second housing, the connector connection detecting unit being configured to transmit a connection state of the male connector and the female connector to an external device.
