In one aspect of the present disclosure, a flexible cord management device is provided. The device includes a helical coil base, an s-loop, and a post. The base can be wrapped around at least a portion of a bundled cord. The s-loop includes a first loop and a second loop, where the first loop is coupled to a first end of the base. The first loop can be opened to receive a first end of the bundled cord, such that, the first end of the bundled cord is securely disposed through the first loop. The second loop is coupled to the first loop. The post extends from the first end of the base and can be inserted through the second loop to secure the first loop in a closed position and removed from the second loop to enable the first loop to achieve an open position.

A safety socket module includes: a shell; an upper cover, configured to cover the shell, where jacks are provided on the upper cover; compartments, where the number of the compartments corresponds to the number of the jacks, each of the compartments is arranged in the shell and below a respective jack of the jacks, and an interior of each of the compartments is accessible from an exterior of the shell through the respective jack; waterproof electrical connection switches, arranged in the compartments and configured to asynchronously control connection and disconnection of a circuit between a power supply and a plug of an electric appliance; and lock control members, respectively arranged in the compartments and aligned with the jacks; where each of the waterproof electrical connection switches includes a waterproof capsule, and a movable contact piece and a static contact piece arranged opposite to each other in the waterproof capsule.

A device for storing excess electrical cord length on or near an electrical outlet. The device features one or more protrusions or cleats that extend away from the surface of the outlet cover into a plane that is substantially perpendicular to the plane in which the outlet cover rests. Each protrusion has an attachment portion, a body portion and a flange located at the end or terminus of each protrusion. The flange is shaped to retain electrical cords that are wrapped around the body of the device in that the flange extends away from the terminus of the protrusion into a plane that is substantially parallel to the plane of the outlet cover. Further, the body includes an opening through which a plug can be passed. Alternately, the device could feature two or more protrusions side by side and need not be directly attached to an electrical outlet cover.

A user extends an electrical receptacle from the wall outlet by pulling the electrical receptacle in a first direction, which unwinds the electrical cable from the spool. Each section of the spool is coupled to an actuator that when triggered rotates the corresponding section of the spool in a second direction, which winds the electrical cable around the spool and retracts the electrical receptacle back into the wall outlet.

A adapter security system adapted to be attached to a cable is taught. The adapter security system includes a wire, at least one adapter that is carried by the wire, and a clamping assembly that is adapted to attach the wire to the cable. The adapter security system provides a means of securing adapters at the location of a presentation while also providing convenient access for the user to the adapters.

A cord management device securable to objects lacking a cord management system. An embodiment includes a flexible substratum on which two outwardly facing hooks are secured in a longitudinally spaced manner. An embodiment further includes a receptacle adapted to receiving and temporarily house the prongs on an electrical cord. The flexible substratum preferably includes an adhesive, magnet or fastener to temporarily or permanently secure the device to objects. The device is thereby attachable to an object to aid in the securement of an electrical cord.
