Electric connection plug for a battery module and corresponding cabling kit
An electric connection plug (5, 5′, 5″) for an electric cable (3) for use with an electric terminal (20, 21, 20′, 21′) of a battery module (2, 2′). The plug includes a conductive fitting (51, 51′, 51″) engaged with a rotatable wheel (56, 56′, 56″) for selectively rotating the fitting to threadingly mechanically and electrically connect to plug to the battery terminal. The cable mechanically and electrically connects to the plug allowing rotation of the wheel and fitting without rotation of the cable while threadingly engaging and disengaging the plug to the battery terminal.
TWO-STAGE CONNECTOR WITH INTERNAL TERMINAL CORRECTION AND REPAIR
A connector includes a receptacle and a plug. The receptacle includes a first terminal of a first gender. The plug includes a second terminal of a second gender opposite to the first gender. The plug further includes a cover and an insert. The cover plugs into the receptacle. The insert includes the second terminal. The insert inserts into the cover such that the first terminal makes an electrical connection with the second terminal.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR SYSTEM
An electrical connector system can comprise a first connector and a second connector. The first connector can include a first threaded coupling feature defining a first axis. The first connector can also include a first electrical contact with a first contact surface having an annular configuration centered on the first axis by a radius. The second connector can include a second threaded coupling feature defining a second axis. The second connector can also include a second electrical contact with a second contact surface offset from the second axis by the radius. The first and second threaded coupling features can be operable to engage one another to couple the first and second connectors to one another such that the first and second axes are aligned, thereby facilitating contact or separation of the first and second contact surfaces upon relative rotation of the first and second connectors.
Steering device having a plug connector unit for electrically contacting a steering sensor unit
A steering device includes a steering transmission housing which provides a sensor recording region, a steering sensor unit arranged in the sensor recording region in an installed state, and plug connector unit arranged, in an installed state, in a contacting recess in the steering transmission housing for electrically contacting the steering sensor unit. The connector unit includes a plug unit for connection to the steering sensor unit and a carrier unit coupled to the plug unit at least in a pre-installed state of the connector unit. The steering device has a decoupling unit which is intended to transmit a force exerted during an installation process of the connector unit onto the plug unit and/or the carrier unit in such a way that the connection between the plug unit and the carrier unit is released during the installation process of the connector unit.
Assembly for locking two parts by a bayonet system, and corresponding method
Assembly comprising a first part and a second part movable relative to each other in translation along a connection axis between a locked configuration and an unlocked configuration. The first part comprises one of a rail and a groove, and the second part comprises the other, the rail being configured to slide axially in the groove. The assembly comprises a ring rotatably mounted on the first part about the connection axis, the ring comprising at least one pin. The second part defines a locking ramp, a first housing and an unlocking ramp. The assembly comprises a return system for exerting a return force on the ring to a position of rest. The locking ramp and the first housing are so designed that a manual movement causes a first sliding of the pin on the locking ramp, and an automatic movement of the ring angularly in one direction between the position of rest and a first intermediate position, then an automatic displacement of the ring angularly in the opposite direction from the first intermediate position to a locking position under the action of the return system, the pin being received in the first housing, the first housing defining a first axial stop designed to block the pin axially. The unlocking ramp is so designed that a manual movement of the rotating ring in said direction from the locking position releases the pin from the first housing and causes a second sliding of the pin on the unlocking ramp, the unlocking ramp reacting axially on the pin to move the first part and the second part away from each other from the locked configuration.
COMPOSITE CONNECTOR
A composite connector that contributes to an improvement of workability for mating connectors with each other while preventing or reducing an increase in manufacturing cost is provided. A composite connector includes a first module including a first housing in which a first connector is exposed, and a second housing rotatable about the first housing, the second housing including a second connector, and a second module including a third connector, and a third housing including a fourth connector, the third connector being configured to be mated with and connected to the first connector. The composite connector is configured so that the second and fourth connectors are mated with each other in a state in which one of a projection and a recess that is formed in the second housing is mated with the other of the projection and the recess that is formed in the third housing.
Blood Pump Connectors
An implantable blood pump system is disclosed herein. The implantable blood pump system includes an implantable blood pump, a controller coupled to the blood pump, a connector receptacle, and a connector insert. The connector receptacle can include a plurality of contacts, and a following surface. The connector insert can be received within the connector receptacle to couple a plurality of insert contacts with the plurality of contacts of the connector receptacle. The connector insert can include walls defining a follower receptacle that can receive a portion of the following surface when the connector insert is in a desired alignment with respect to the connector receptacle, and a cam surface that can engage with the following surface to bias the connector insert to the desired alignment with respect to the connector receptacle when the connector insert is inserted into the connector receptacle.
LOCKING ELECTRICAL CONTACT DEVICE WITH SWITCH
An electrical connector assembly includes a first electrical contact device and a second electrical contact device. The first electrical contact device includes a plurality of conductors. The second electrical contact device includes a first portion, a second portion movable in a rotational and translational manner relative to the first portion, and an actuator movable between a first position and a second position. The first portion includes first electrical contacts, and the second portion includes electrical sockets. Each socket receives an associated conductor and includes a second electrical contact aligned with an associated first electrical contact. The second portion is biased away from the first portion. When the actuator is in the first position, the actuator inhibits translational movement of the second portion toward the first portion. When the actuator is in the second position, the second portion is movable toward the first portion to permit the second electrical contacts to engage the first electrical contacts.
ELECTRICAL FIXTURE INSTALLATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A two-piece electrical locking system having a first male piece with a plurality of pins that protrude outwardly from a top surface of the first male piece and a second female piece with a plurality of connection channels that engage with the pins of the first male piece. The first male piece may be tightened and brought closer to the second female piece as the pins rotatably mate with the plurality of connection channels. The two-piece electrical locking system may allow for an electrical fixture to easily and effectively be connected mechanically and electrically to an overhead junction box.
