HEAD PART OF AN IMPLANTABLE DEVICE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE HEAD PART AS WELL AS A PLUG ASSEMBLY WHICH CAN BE FITTED INTO THE HEAD PART
The invention pertains to a head part of an implantable device, its method of production and a plug assembly which can be fitted into the head part. The head part comprises a head part housing which has at least one blind hole plug contact socket with a socket opening and a socket base axially opposite the socket opening, along which at least one electrically conductive contact ring element and an electrically insulating, elastically deformable seal ring is positioned and which are enclosed by a solidified casting compound, are joined together in a coaxial arrangement and in an axially serial sequence.
MAGNETIC CONNECTOR AND SENSOR FOR DETECTING A PRESENCE OF A FUNCTION
A system for detecting a presence of a feature or function of an output device used with an electronic device. The system includes a connector associated with the output device, the connector having a magnetic region comprising one or more magnetized members to provide a magnetic field. The system further includes a magnetic sensor associated with the electronic device, the magnetic sensor being positioned proximate a connection port of the electronic device, the connection port being configured to receive the connector to enable the magnetic sensor to detect a presence of the magnetic field and to determine the feature or function of the output device. The system further includes control logic associated with the magnetic sensor, the control logic controlling the electronic device based on the presence of the magnetic field and according to the determined feature or function of the output device.
Connector and method of manufacture
An electrical connector having a first connector part and a second connector part, the first connector part with at least one electrically conductive pin and the second connector part with at least one shuttle pin, the conductive pin having two or more electrically conductive cores, each conductive core being provided with an external electrical contact and an insulating material forming a watertight seal with the conductive core and the electrical contact. The conductive cores include two or more cores spaced from one another to form the conductive pin. Facing surfaces of the two or more cores are spaced by an air gap with insulating material in the air gap and overmoulded insulating material is in contact with other surfaces of the conductive cores.
Connector and method of manufacture
An electrical connector having a first connector part and a second connector part, the first connector part with at least one electrically conductive pin and the second connector part with at least one shuttle pin, the conductive pin having two or more electrically conductive cores, each conductive core being provided with an external electrical contact and an insulating material forming a watertight seal with the conductive core and the electrical contact. The conductive cores include two or more cores spaced from one another to form the conductive pin. Facing surfaces of the two or more cores are spaced by an air gap with insulating material in the air gap and overmoulded insulating material is in contact with other surfaces of the conductive cores.
AUDIO APPARATUS AND AUDIO OUTPUT PORT
An audio apparatus includes an analog module that receives a digital left (L) channel signal and a digital right (R) channel signal and outputs first and second analog L signals and first and second analog R signals, a first output port that includes first to fifth conductors, through which the first and second analog L signals, the first and second analog R signals, and a ground voltage are provided, and a second output port that includes sixth to ninth conductors, through which the first and second analog L signals and the first and second analog R signals are provided. When an audio jack including first to third terminals is inserted into the first output port, the first and second conductors are connected to the first terminal, the third and fourth conductors are connected to the second terminal, and the fifth conductor is connected to the third terminal.
AUDIO APPARATUS AND AUDIO OUTPUT PORT
An audio apparatus includes an analog module that receives a digital left (L) channel signal and a digital right (R) channel signal and outputs first and second analog L signals and first and second analog R signals, a first output port that includes first to fifth conductors, through which the first and second analog L signals, the first and second analog R signals, and a ground voltage are provided, and a second output port that includes sixth to ninth conductors, through which the first and second analog L signals and the first and second analog R signals are provided. When an audio jack including first to third terminals is inserted into the first output port, the first and second conductors are connected to the first terminal, the third and fourth conductors are connected to the second terminal, and the fifth conductor is connected to the third terminal.
CONNECTORS AND RELATED METHODS
A connector assembly having a pin and a housing. The pin having an insulator layer or material separating two adjacent electrical contacts. The electrical contacts can each include a contact band and a tab extending from the contact band. An electrical contact can be established with a spring contact and the contact band can at least partially surrounds the insulator around the lengthwise axis of the pin. Two electrical contacts can be positioned in an axial or longitudinal offset configuration.
PLUG-IN CONNECTION AND METHOD FOR CONNECTING, IN PARTICULAR, ELECTRICAL LINES
The invention relates to a plug-in connection (1) for connecting, in particular, electrical lines, comprising at least a female connecting element (2) and a male connecting element (3), wherein the female connecting element (2) interlockingly receives the male connecting element (3) and wherein the two connecting elements (2, 3) can be detachably frictionally connected while in interlocking contact, wherein a region (4) of the male connecting element (3) that enters into connection is coaxially tapered and comprises at least one slidable contact body (5), which is arranged within the male connecting element in a first position and protrudes from the male connecting element (3) in a second position. The invention further relates to a use of such a plug-in connection (1). The invention further relates to a method for connecting, in particular, electrical lines by means of a plug-in connection (1).
ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING FM ANTENNA AND METHOD FOR SWITCHING FM ANTENNA
An electronic device with a Frequency Modulation (FM) antenna includes an earphone jack, an FM chip, a switching unit, and a processing unit. The earphone jack includes a left channel pin, a right channel pin, and a ground pin. The FM chip receives an FM signal and outputs a Receive Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) value of the FM signal to the processing unit. The processing unit receives the RSSI value, compares the RSSI value with a predetermined value, and controls the switching unit to select the left and right channel pins as a signal receiving point of the FM antenna or select the ground pin as the signal receiving point of the FM antenna according to a result of the comparison.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING FM ANTENNA AND METHOD FOR SWITCHING FM ANTENNA
An electronic device with a Frequency Modulation (FM) antenna includes an earphone jack, an FM chip, a switching unit, and a processing unit.
