SELF-SEALING ELECTRICAL PLUG-AND-SOCKET ASSEMBLY
Provided is a plug-and-socket assembly including a plug configured to be electrically and mechanically coupled with a socket, and a cover configured to be mounted over a portion of the plug and a portion of the socket, the cover including a flange forming a first opening at a proximal end of the cover and configured to be coupled to the socket, a retaining portion forming a second opening at a distal end of the cover, and configured to secure a plug component between the flange and the retaining portion, and a cover body extending from the flange to the retaining portion and forming a longitudinal opening extending from the first opening to the second opening.
Diagnostic imaging catheter
A diagnostic imaging catheter is disclosed, which is capable of preventing a solution from an internal space of a hub from flowing into a portion communicating with the internal space of the hub and to which the signal lines such as the optical fiber and the electric signal cable are electrically or optically connected. The optical diagnostic catheter includes a rotatable drive shaft, an elongated sheath configured to be inserted into a biological lumen, a hub that includes a port connected to the sheath for supplying the solution, a connector portion that includes an optical connector accommodated in an internal space of the hub and optically connected to an external optical connector, a first seal portion that prevents the solution from the port from flowing into a first connection portion, and a second seal portion that prevents the solution from the port from flowing into a second connection portion.
Power connectors with receiving chamber
A circular power connector that can accommodate plugs of varying diameters includes a plurality of electrical terminals that include a contact beam extending from and monolithic with base, where the contact beam includes a contact portion, and a mounting portion that extends from and monolithic with a base for mounting the terminal to a substrate. The terminals are cylindrically arranged to receive a plug. Alternatively, each electrical terminal includes a frame portion, a first contact beam extending from the frame in a first direction, and a second contact beam extending from the frame in a second direction. Multiple electrical terminals are oriented so that the first and second contact beams for one terminal extend at an angle, preferably perpendicular, to the first and second contact beams of another electrical terminal, in a still further embodiment, an electrical terminal having two halves is provided.
