Power connection assembly comprising a connection module and electric cable terminations to be locked in/unlocked from the module in a desired insertion position, terminal block comprising a plurality of independent connection modules
Power connection assembly including a connection module and electric cable terminations to be locked in/unlocked from the module in a desired insertion position. Terminal block includes a plurality of independent connection modules. A cavity in the body of a connection module is provided into which it is possible to insert an electric cable termination that is able to be fastened and locked in at least two separate insertion positions, preferably a multitude thereof, through sliding/translational movement of a locking plate over the body that is provided with reliefs, preferably ridges that interleave in complementary reliefs, preferably ridges of the sleeve of the termination.
Temporary electrical panel
Disclosed herein is an apparatus for providing and monitoring a temporary electrical supply, which comprises a portable electrical panel with an array of circuit breakers, an array of electrical plugs for supplying a temporary source of electricity, and an array of amp and voltage meters that detect information needed for each corresponding phase. The Temporary Electrical Panel is supplied by a 50-amp cord and has a 40-amp main breaker. Each electrical plug is rated at 20 amps, tamper resistant, and GFCI protected, with a dedicated 20-amp breaker. The electrical plugs may also be color coded to differentiate which phase they are on. Additionally, the Temporary Electrical Panel comprises a plastic backing board with handle cut outs or a handle, which allow the Temporary Electrical Panel to be carried.
Power adapter having contact elements in a recess and method of controlling a power adapter
A power adapter configured to provide power to a load is described. The power adapter comprises a first plurality of contact elements comprising a first contact element configured to receive power and a second contact element adapted to be coupled to a load; and a surface adapted to receive a control attachment and comprising a second plurality of contact elements; wherein a third contact element of the second plurality of contact elements is configured to receive power by way of the first contact element of the first plurality of contact elements; and wherein power is applied to a load by way of the second contact element of the first plurality of contact elements.
SOCKET STRUCTURE AND PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A socket structure includes a casing, a switch, a linkage, a first hook, a gear, a rotating arm, and a second hook. The switch is exposed from the casing and disposed movably to the casing along a first direction or a second direction. The linkage is located in the casing and linked to the switch, and has a rack. The first hook is exposed from the casing and linked to the linkage. The gear is located in the casing and engages with the rack. The rotating arm having one end pivotally connected to the gear is located in the casing. The second hook is exposed from the casing and linked to the other end of the rotating arm. When the switch moves along the first direction, the linkage drives the first hook to move, the gear drives the rotating arm, and the second hook moves to an unlocked position.
Locking combination outlet module and power distribution unit incorporating the same
An outlet module including a module housing comprising a base surface and a sidewall extending therefrom to at least partially surround an interior region. Multiple outlet cores extend from the base surface and at least one latch lever is pivotably coupled to the sidewall and adjacent a corresponding one of the multiple outlet cores. The latch lever is moveable between a first position, wherein the at least one latch lever is capable of engaging a mating plug and a second position, wherein the at least one latch lever is disengaged from the plug.
ELECTRONICS UNIT FOR MANAGED CONNECTIVITY, PATCH PANEL INCORPORATING THE SAME, METHODS OF INSTALLATION AND USE
An electronics units for providing intelligence to a patch panel includes spaced plug guides, a circuit board, and contacts with connection points that are movable relative to the circuit board in response to contact with a plug. The electronics unit can be used as part of a patch panel assembly and can be retrofittable into the patch panel.
REEL BASED OUTLET RELOCATION/EXTENSION SYSTEM
A power adapter may include a base wall mounted power adapter configured to be plugged into a wall power outlet and at least one extension adapter unit electrically coupled to the base wall mounted power adapter and configured to be extended away from the wall power outlet. The at least one extension adapter unit may include an electrical conduit reel configured to unravel in response to the at least one extension adapter unit being extended.
TELECOMMUNICATIONS PANEL WITH PATCHING DEVICE INSTALLATION FEATURES
A telecommunications panel has various features for removably mounting patching devices to the panel. The telecommunications panel includes mounting flanges and ramp elements for facilitating mounting and removal of patching devices. The ramp element is associated with a receptacle opening of the panel and configured to contact a flexible latch of the patching device and depress the flexible latch as the patching device is received in the receptacle opening.
TAMPER RESISTANCE RECEPTACLE
A tamper resistant electrical receptacle comprises a housing including a cover having at least one plug outlet formed therethrough, the plug outlet configured to receive both line and neutral blades of an electrical plug. The electrical receptacle further comprises electrical contacts positioned within the housing below the at least one plug outlet, the electrical contacts being configured to be connect to AC power. A shutter disposed within the housing between the cover and the electrical contacts is slidable between a closed position blocking access to the electrical contacts through the plug outlet and an open position allowing access to the electrical contacts through the plug outlet, the shutter being biased toward the closed position. The shutter is configured to slide from the closed position to the open position only upon simultaneous insertion of both the line and neutral blades of the electrical plug in the plug outlet.
Power distributor protection
A power distributor includes a plurality of power outlets and a plurality of power inlet receptors. Each power inlet receptor is configured to supply power to all the power outlets in the plurality of power outlets. Each power outlet has a cover that when in a closed and locked configuration prevents physical access to a power inlet receptor. A physical locking mechanism is configured to lock every cover from the plurality of covers. The physical locking mechanism allows at most one cover from the plurality of covers to be unlocked at a time so that the physical locking mechanism prevents the simultaneous unlocking of more than one cover from the plurality of covers.
