Connector made of an electrically insulating material to electrically connect a main conductor and a secondary conductor
A connector made of an electrically insulating material that will electrically connect a main conductor and a secondary conductor, the connector including a central section extending along a longitudinal direction, a main part and a secondary part defining a main channel and a secondary channel respectively, parallel to the longitudinal direction and separated by the central section, the connector also includes electrical connection devices made of an electrically conducting material, designed to electrically connect the main conductor and the secondary conductor as soon as they are inserted in the main channel and in the secondary channel respectively.
Wire guide for insulation displacement contact (IDC)
This disclosure provides a method and apparatus for connecting insulated wires to electrical components. More specifically, an apparatus that includes a wire guide designed to assist with the alignment of wires prior to termination of the wires to electrical components is disclosed. In an embodiment, the wire guide includes a body portion and a latching portion. The body portion includes at least one wire opening and is configured to mechanically secure one or more insulated wires in a desirable position. The latching portion is configured to secure the wire guide to a corresponding device such as an insulation displacement contact connector. A wire guide allows for insulated wires to be quickly and reliably positioned and secured relative to one another in order to safely and efficiently electrically and mechanically connect each insulated wire to a corresponding electrical component.

NON-SHORTING CABLE CORING TOOL
A coring tool for a coaxial cable has a tool holder and cutter bit mounted to the tool holder. The cutter bit is constructed from a conductive metal or alloy which is durable for rotatably drilling out and removing a dielectric core surrounding a central conductor of the coaxial cable, as the central conductor is preserved by passing into a central bore formed in the cutter bit. The cutter bit also includes a non-conductive sleeve or coating which prevents the cutter bit from electrically interconnecting, e.g., shorting, the central conductor to an outer conductor of the coaxial cable.
CONNECTOR AND ATTACHMENT METHOD
A connector (10) configured to bring an object (70) into conduction comprises: a pair of fitting bodies fittable to each other; and a filler (60) with which at least one fitting body of the pair of fitting bodies is loaded, wherein a fitting body of the pair of fitting bodies includes an accommodating portion (35a) configured to accommodate an end of the object (70), and the filler (60) is configured to cover the end of the object (70) in the accommodating portion (35a).

Coupler connector and cable terminator with side contacts
An assembly comprising a cable terminator comprising a wire guide, a cube shaped securing cap comprising an open end for installation over the wire guide, and pairs of piercing contacts for piercing respective conductors of the cable. When assembled, an outer end of each of the piercing contacts is exposed on an outer surface of a respective securing cap sidewall. The assembly also comprises a coupler connector comprising one of a modular (for example RJ-45 compatible) socket or a modular (for example RJ-45 compatible) plug, a rearward surface comprising a cable terminator receiving socket, wherein pairs of contacts are exposed along at least one side wall of the socket, and further wherein each of a plurality of the tines in the modular socket or the terminal contacts of the plug is interconnected with a respective one of the contacts.
