Power busbar connection tool
The invention relates to an electric device, especially to a power busbar connection tool, said tool comprises an hydraulic cylinder drive unit and an electric control unit, a stationary portion removably connected to a busbar, a movable portion removably connected to a busbar and a loading portion for clamping connecting rods. Said movable portion is movably connected to a first and second stationary shaft of said stationary portion, said movable portion is fixedly connected to said hydraulic cylinder drive unit by a movable shaft, said movable shaft is driven to slide axially with respect to said first and second stationary shaft by said hydraulic cylinder drive unit, said loading portion is movably connected to said second stationary shaft and slides between a body of said stationary portion and a body of said movable portion, said loading portion rotates around said second stationary shaft. It is achieved that a plurality of connecting rods are simultaneously mounted to busbars and that two busbars are connected in a form of butt-and-butt connecting.
Frame assembly for coaxial cable connectors
A frame assembly for a compression tool, including a fitting configured to mount to the compression tool and receive a ram member thereof through a bore of the fitting; and a pair of interlocking jaws pivotally mounted to the fitting about a pair of non-coincident axes. The interlocking jaws are configured to at least partially envelop an annular compression ring while aligning the conductors of a coaxial cable with an axis of the cable connector. The ram member of the compression tool is activated to translate axially along the axis of the cable connector thereby mitigating misalignment of the compression ring as the ring engages the connector body.

COAXIAL CONNECTOR HAVING A BREAKAWAY COMPRESSION RING AND TORQUE MEMBER
A connector includes a body having a cable receiving end configured to receive the end of the coaxial cable, a coupler configured to be coupled with and to rotate relative to the body, and a compression ring including a forward sleeve portion and a rearward outer ring portion attached to one another by a plurality of tabs. The forward sleeve portion is configured to be coupled to the cable receiving end of the body, and the plurality of tabs are configured to shear so as to separate the rearward outer ring portion from the forward sleeve portion when a torque for rotating the compression ring relative to the body exceeds a desired torque. The rearward outer ring includes an inner opening when separated from the forward sleeve portion, the separated rearward outer ring is configured to be slidingly moved relative to the body and the coupler, and the inner opening is configured to fit over the coupler such that the rearward outer ring is configured to be a torque assist member.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR CONNECTING TO A METALLIC SHIELD OF A CABLE
The present disclosure describes various devices and methods for the reconstruction or restoration of a metallic shield of a cable, which provide a holding feature for simplifying the installation of an electrically-conductive member on the metallic shield and improving the reliability of the connection. Both factory-supplied and field-installable holding features are described.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR INSTALLATION TOOL
A connector installation tool includes an elongated body, a handle, a battery, and a c-shaped tool head. The elongated body includes a first end, a second end, and an axis extending therebetween. The handle includes a switch and is positioned proximate the first end. The switch is moveable between a first position and a second position. The battery is supported on the body and is configured to provide power to an actuator when the switch is in the first position. The C-shaped tool head is positioned proximate the second end. The c-shaped tool head includes a stop surface and a ram, and the ram is extendable toward the stop surface.
