Contact device, contact system and method for assembling such a contact system
A contact device includes a housing having a housing interior, a screw having a screw head and a shaft connected to the screw head, the shaft extending along a screw axis and having a first thread, a screw locking device connecting the screw head to the housing by a force-based and/or an interlocking engagement, and a first contact element for contacting a second contact element of a further contact device. The first contact element and the screw are arranged in the housing interior.
TERMINAL ASSEMBLY STRUCTURE
A terminal assembly structure according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a crimp terminal having a crimp portion configured to crimp and connect a core wire of an electric wire and a fastening portion configured to be fastened by a fastening member; and a holder having a base portion configured to place the crimp terminal when fastening the crimp terminal to the holder. The holder has a detection rib at a position on the base portion to be oppose to the crimp portion of the crimp terminal, the detection rib being configured to interfere with the crimp portion when misassembly of front and back sides of the crimp terminal to the holder occurs.
Insertion/extraction mechanism and method for replacing block member
There is provided an insertion/extraction mechanism for having one or multiple block members being inserted into or extracted from a frame member forming an intermediate connection member that is disposed between a first member having multiple first members and a second member having multiple second terminals and electrically connects the first terminals and the second terminals, the block member having multiple connection terminals for electrically connecting the first terminals and the second terminals. The insertion/extraction mechanism comprises a first engaging unit and a second engaging unit that are engaged with a first engaged portion and a second engaged portion of the block member, respectively, thereby holding the block member.

HEATED HOSE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS
An electrical connector system for use with independently heated hoses includes a first electrical connector, a second electrical connector, a third electrical connector, and a fourth electrical connector. The first electrical connector includes a first key that mates with a second key of the second electrical connector. The third electrical connector includes a third key that mates with a fourth key of the fourth electrical connector. The first and second keys differ from the third and fourth keys, ensuring the electrical connectors are correctly connected.
I/O CONNECTOR CAGE WITH HIGH SHIELDING EFFECTIVENESS
A spring seal for a cage of a high speed I/O connector, such as those compliant with an OSFP standard. The spring seal suppresses resonances in the operating frequency range of the connector in a space between the cage and a transceiver inserted in a channel of the cage to mate with the I/O connector. The spring seal has multiple peaks, separated by valleys, with short conducting paths between the peaks and valleys. The spring seal may connect a conductive exterior of the transceiver to a wall of the cage, with the peaks contacting a conductive exterior of the transceiver and the valleys contacting walls of the cage. The spring seal may have a plurality of slits that reduce the spring force while providing conducting paths between peaks and valleys.

Modular circuit board multi-tap
A multi-tap device for a cable television (CATV) system includes a tap housing and a faceplate configured to be connected to the tap housing. The device also includes a first circuit board configured to be connected to the tap housing. The device also includes a second circuit board configured to be connected to the faceplate and to the first circuit board. The device also includes an access cover connected to the tap housing. The access cover is configured to be opened to provide access to disconnect the first circuit board from the tap housing and from the second circuit board and to subsequently remove the first circuit board from the tap housing, thereby changing a tap value of the multi-tap device. The second circuit board is configured to remain connected to the faceplate and positioned within the tap housing when the first circuit board is removed from the tap housing.
